Ok I know this sounds stupid, but any of y'all ever keep going to the bathroom just to check and get sore from all the wiping?

Hi ladies,

I just had my blood drawn for my first beta. I don't know if I'll hear back today or tomorrow... or if they'll call my work or my home. Luckily for me I have acupuncture this evening. I hope it helps me to relax if nothing else.

Kuntrygrl - I'm so sorry about your angel baby. Twins sounds manageable. I hope your dream becomes reality for you.

LS - how did the appointment go?

Texas - I think I'm getting there. Somehow I still keep thinking AF is going show up.

@Margie - Cannot wait to hear your results! Glad you got that done! Hopefully you hear back today. Did they not give you a time frame??

@texas- I can't say i have experienced that, but i completely know why you are checking so often haha!!

Thanks ladies. No I didn't get a time frame. The RN that called from the Clinic said I should hear back before the end of the day but the technician that took the blood said that I'd most likely get the results tomorrow. So now I wait. My acupuncture appointment helped calm down my anxiety. I actually feel quite relaxed right now.

@margie - Well i sure hope your RN is right!! Hey, did your acupuncturist take your pulse? Mine does and the first time before my beta, he didn't say anything but the second time (before my third beta) he said....you just feel pregnant to me. Apparently they can tell by the way of your pulse if they "feel" you are pregnant or not. That is crazy i know!

Yes she takes my pulse every time. Today she said yep your pulse is nice and strong.

She was really curious to see what my numbers come back at. She also told me that I needed to relax and clear my mind As stress won't help me.

@Margie - hey i think thats a great sign then!! Has she ever said anything before? Can't wait to hear when you get your results!
