Well, we tried again this evening and no luck, again. I just want to curl up in a ball and cry, but I know that it wont help me, or my DH to do that.

DH's retrograde is caused because he can't control his bladder muscle, the sphincter. Sometimes during BDing it's open, or slightly open and so it allows the sperm to enter the bladder instead of going out the way it's supposed to! It's weird, I have no idea why it happens sometimes and not others.

I really wish I could keep him out of the loop, but it's just not possible. Not to get too much in detail, but there's only a certain way DH can ejaculate, and that's why we have to do the insemination method. So, to "properly" BD, he has to be in the loop! We don't talk about it days before or anything, I just let him know in the morning, hey, I'm O'ing today so he can take his cialis, he can do it without it, but seems to always help when we're BDing. Definitely wish there was a way to keep him out of the loop, because I know he's putting way too much pressure on himself!

I have sympathy, I do, but he's seriously gonna have to suck it up, because there's a definite possibility that we'll have to have an IUI and he's got to be able to handle it without "thinking" about it too much.

I don't think I have anything to rant about today. I'm 2dpo and had this horrible pinching behind my belly button this morning when I stood up. Now I'm kinda crampy but not really - it's weird like my abdomen is kinda burning. I don't know how to describe it.

I should've called out today - my son and husband are home today. My son had a dentist appointment this morning and then a doc appointment this afternoon. He's an athelete and had some problems with his knee since basketball season started. Now that I think about it - no I shouldn't have called out because I have a feeling that my hubby is gonna have to take my son to get an xray. Not trying to sit in teh ER for hours at a time.

thats me screaming cuz these dam opk are screwing with my body and mind... why are they all of a sudden starting to show a surge. lines are even darker than they were on feb 26th, so im guessing i geared up to o but i didn't and will now o in the next 2 weeks. the shitty thing is i have checked my temps and they were high after the 26th until a couple of days ago where they dropped, i feel crampy and pmsy but now i don't know what to think. this sucks ass i guess i will have to have even more patience and see what happens, damit i thought i was 10dpo today,well im still going to put my symptoms in and if no af by sunday im going to buy a frer and poas. i have ic's but i only have 1 left cuz i poas crazy on monday and burned through them fml im soooo stupid sometimes.....

aroma, I hear you about opk's! My situation is different than yours but maybe your getting positive opk's but your pregnant? I've herd of that happening. My stupid body gears up to O twice I think. Then I don't know for sure whether or not it actually pops out or not!

I still don't have any idea if I O'd yet. My OPK this morning was for sure negative and dh actually found some "libido" last night so we did the dance. My temp is still wackey. But I haven't had a continuous temp shift yet. Stupid! I wish there was another sure fire way to tell if I actually ovulated!

On the plus side, I got my rental car and it's frikkin nice! The auto body shop said my car has at least $5,600 of damages. Wonderful huh? But thankfully it's 100% his fault so his insurance is taking care of it all!

I had a heart to heart with my mother. She's in a very reasonable mood. I told her I was ttc and she was Ok with it. She said shed like me to wait until we're a little more on our feet but she's not forcing my hand. It feels good to finally have some support.

I guess that wasn't a rant. It was a little too positive. I'm sure I'll have a rant later tonight.

Robyn - I am so sorry sweetie. The whole situation sounds rotten When are you guys thinking about doing IUI? Have you talked to the doctors to see if there is anything that can be done to help prevent this retrograde?

AFM - Irritated this morning.... we had plans with friends this weekend which have now been moved to tomorrow night and they are inviting another couple that have two kids (brats) that dh and I cant stand!

i wish i knew what was going on with my body. my period is now 7 days late. i feel incredibly pregnant but nothing is showing. and no one believes me when i say im pregnant because nothing is showing. it just doesnt make sense. ill wait the next two weeks. but honestly its taking a lot out of me. im so exhausted that i went to bed at 9:30pm and slept til noon. then i had a three hour nap around 4! my whole body is without energy

its so frustrating!!

Snow, your bloodwork came back negative? I have a friend who went off bc pills 6 months ago and is ttc, her cycles have been like 47 - 50 days. That's just crazy to me and they can't find any reason for it. Did your docs decide to to an u/s to see whats goin on in there?

joy, DH and I have a close friend who's a single mom and her son is a terror sometimes! We try to help her with him, but she doen't want to here it from us because we don't have kids. We are always being fed the "You just wait, your kids will be JUST like this line!' I just want to scream at her, LIKE HELL THEY WILL! LOL

As for me, I don't think I am ever going to ovulate. And I am tired of forcing sex every day with the hopes that this is the day. Stupid temp! My concern now is that because I am throwing in the towel on this cycle and concieveing, If I don't ovualte, when will I get my next cycle and be able to continue onto our iui cycle? Are annovulatory cycles crazy long? I don't know for sure if I've ever had a cycle that I didn't ovulate. And, can the hsg test mess with ovulation? Ugh! So many questions and yet, I feel stupid calling the drs office with them.

And I used the last of my OPK's this morning. I refuse to buy more. Waste of money!

Bumble - Grr to not geting a +opk... what cd are you on? Maybe the hsg test just screwed with your o day? (I have heard that before) I would try just bding every other day until you know for sure. What kind of opks do you use? If you're using the expensive ones I would highly suggest giving the dollar store ones a try!
And UGH to that stupif "you just wait till you have kids" line!! I swear if I hear that one more time I'm gonna loose it!!

Jil - Sorry your feeling so frustrated right now... really hope you get an answer sooner rather than later! How many af's have you had since your m/c?

AFM - Lazy day today.... laundry, cleaning and grocery shopping, thats about it. Not looking forward to going out tomorrow now that I know those bratty kids are gonna be there.
