I am so glad I found this forum. I have been feeling so sad. My AF arrived again yesterday. My husband and I have been trying for # 2 for 13 months. Its so unfair. Everytime someone posts that they finally got pregnant after 3 months I want to scream! 3 months is FAST! How do u all cope with this? I just feel like giving up...

Hi ladies..

We've been trying for 2 yrs for Our first child with no luck at all...So, we ask medical help..
Last Month , jan.07, we went to doctor.
I had ultrasound of pelvic, uterus and ovaries.
Also. pap smear. The results are all Normal.

Yesterday, my 3rd appointment @ CD2, she prescribed clomid..its 50mg , 3 times a day for five days..fromcd2-cd6..

Hopefully, this CLOMID will for us in just one try.. ..

I have had read that some of you taking clomid..Pls.,may i know what are the effect on ur body? or changes? or the side effect?
my doc is always on a hurry. intimidating sometimes...:-(

i havent been using the forum long bt me and my oh have been ttc #1 for 2 years now and i havent got anywhere with my doctors yet speaking to them next wk again my oh found out his results n everything is fine at his end

i knw how u feel when ppl post abt being pregnant i have found out in the space of a short time 5 family members plus 3 ppl i went to school with are all expecting
it gets me down bt had some gd advice on here im jst trying to take each month at a time n hope for the best
my best friend was through staying with me at the wkend and she said to me maybe i just want this too much and jst to think positive and speak to my doctors see what tests they can do for me

like i have said in my other posts on this topic i havent had any tests done other than a routine smear which came back normal
last wk my husband had a sperm test done and has come back normal so our next step is im speaking to my doctor next wk to find out what tests etc then can do for me as the last time i saw my doctor 6 months ago she gave me evening primrose oil plus prescribed tablets for depression (which i stopped taking after one month) i felt it was more my mood was down due to not getting that positive result month after month but after coming on here i have spoke to a few ppl and always feel better jst speaking abt whats bothering me

i dont knw much abt clomid bt best of luck and i hope it works for u after the first month

A few months ago my doctor did hormone tests on me. And he tested my thyroid. Everything came back normal. I need to have an ultrasound now, just to make sure there's no blockage. My husband has a semen analysis on Tuesday, so we'll see how that goes. Then we see our specialist on the 27th of Feb. I just purchased preseed and Fertil-tea. I have also purchsed Fertilaid for men and women but we are waiting until after our appointment to start using that. I really hope this is our month. I guess I'm just confused as our first child was concieved when we weren't even trying. And now that we are trying for #2 its not working. I am a mess every month when I get my period and for about a week after. Then I start to get excited about ovulation again. Then the TWW is sooo hard. I try to find things to keep my mind busy but its so hard. Hopefully we get some news soon. Good luck to all!!

Danielle you emotional ups and downs are about the same as mine. We have used pressed for about a year now and have had two pregnancies using it. How come you are going to wait with the fertilaid? I have been really curious about using that. I am tempted to try it if clomid doesn't do the trick for us!

Cliven I have been on three rounds of clomid two at 50mg and one this last month at 100mg. On both of my 50mg rounds I got pregnant but both ended in losses. I am still waitng on AF for my 100mg round this month. 50 mg didn't do too much to me. I had some hot flashes and some increased feelings of ovulation and ovary enlargment. Which is normal. For 100mg my symptoms really exaggerated. I had headaches, very painful ovulation and no Cervical Mucous at all. I had my annual and my doctor decided to swtich back down to 50mg this coming month if I don't get a positive HPT in the next week. So good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

Wilson good to hear about the swimmers! That is always a good hurtle to get over. But at the same time don't blame yourself just yet! Keep positive and get your answers!

Quick update on me. I am now 13dpo. No positive HPt yet and no sign of AF yet. She would be set to make an apperance either tomorrow or Thursday. Keeping my fingers crossed! But I am nervous since my last pregnancy was an ectopic and I didn't test positive till the day of my missed period where as in my other pregnancy I tested positive on 11dpo. We shall see! Baby dust!

Dolphin- Yes, it actually took me over 3 years (inactively, actively trying, if that makes any sense) to get prego w my daughter. However, it was also with my x-husband, so its hard to say what the issue was there. I have been with my fiance since my daughter was 5m old, and we have been TTC for over 2 years now for my 2nd, our 1st. It's so confusing and disappointing.

AF showed up 4 days early (again) this month. Last month, it was 4 days early, and this month 4 days earlier. I don't know what that's supposed to mean or what to do about that, but it's throwing everything off, and if it continues this rate, unless I show BFP before then, AF will show up the day of my WEDDING!!!! I HOPE NOT!!!!!

good luck for your hubby on tuesday fingers crossed for uz, i am tempted to buy some of the fertil aid products if af comes this month and see if that works if i dont have any joy with my doctor tomorrow
I hope this is your month i think it does get harder each time af comes along and the tww can be difficult i remember one month i was 7 days late and thought could this really be my month done a test and was negative then af arrived the next day that was a sad time for me bt i managed to get past it had a wkend with my friend she cheered me up plus i spend alot of time with my nephew so that helps me from month to month coz when i feel down her and my nephew jst seem to find a way to pick me back up again bt sometimes it does get hard to keep urself busy
i dread this month if af comes as my friend and nephew are going away for the wk when im due af :/

i was pleased with his result i am still not trying to think it could be me trying my best to think positive my friend was here at the wkend she said with me i have always got things when ive wanted them and not waited long she said maybe jst maybe i want this to happen so bad that im stressing too much jst speak to my doctor and get some answers so that made me feel a bit better

Dolphin & Wilson- i chose to not start Fertilaid yet because we have our speicalist appointment at the end of this month and I would like us to be in our natural state to get correct results. I will hopefully start next month. I have also ordered Fertil-tea and Pre-seed. I am excited to see our specilast to find out whats going on. My husband has a semen analysis tomorrow and I will be getting an ultrasound next week. I am excited to see what the doctors says. Maybe I will be pregnant by the time I see him!!
