nharty09: I had to laugh with your comment about Valentine's Day being the announcement day if this takes for you this month. I have already made up my mind that we won't tell anyone until Easter. That gives me a solid 3 months. However we might tell our parents sooner than that. I think it mostly depends on how the pregnancy would go. Sucks working for family sometimes because if you are getting sick in the bathroom I think they will figure it out...lol. Good luck to you and hope this is your month.

jfh2805: Welcome to the group! Hope you get your BFP really soon! I hear ya on the stress. We had 15 over for Thanksgiving I was grateful for being able to drink at that time. But I had about 10 over on Halloween and I wasn't drinking then because I had just had an IUI done a week and a 1/2 before that and well, I didn't want to risk it. This month I have just been testing the morning before celebrations just to be safe. I didn't want to deal with the stress.

WhileImWaiting: Hope you get your BFP before your appt...but what's nice about your appt is that it's coming up so if AF does show then you get in to see the doc right away.

hanna28: You are so sweet and I agree with you! This board is so wonderful and has some great supportive ladies in here and I don't know where I would have been without them a couple months ago when I had my mc and today just being here.

Holly860: I pray you get lucky before your SIL! I know how hard it is to hear news like that after you have been trying for so long. I went through it last year...felt like a slap in the face.

AFM: I don't want to tell DH this because I am worried everything might just be in my head but I am starting to notice some similarities to my last pregnancy symptoms. Sore nipples, extremely tired (granted I had a very long holiday weekend), certain food aversions, and I am freezing. And OMG! My hips/low back are still bothering me...even after I have been to the Chiropractor last Wed. I go back to him this Wed. But it just doesn't feel like he's getting anywhere. Praying these are good signs. I have no idea when I O'd because I never did get a +OPK. I have been really bad with temping this month so I really can't go by that too much. So I guess it's just a wait & see deal. I tested over the weekend and it came back negative...basically I tested if I knew I was planning to drink. Just like I will test again on Wed being that it's New Years Eve. FX'd my New Years starts off with a bang! The next time I see the specialist is as soon as AF arrives and if she doesn't, I don't know...Probably not long after a BFP.

Awebeste- Thanks so much for you post! That is pretty much what we are doing. Every 2nd day BD through cycle..once it was on the third instead of second and now that I am in my fertile period its been 5 days in a row.....Hopefully maybe another one tonight. When I was in the shower I had a good amount of EWCM come out...I am just so scared I will miss the egg. I am a normal 35 day cycle and its CD 23 today so I should probably keep BD. My poor DH he is doing so well as I continue to jump on him .

Hcg 121 still scared have a cyst on left ovary and go back for repeat tmrw last week blood was less than 2 so I don't know how to feel about numbers

Holly, We've done the same as awebeste and you. We started BD every other day starting at cd8 rather than just focusing around O day. I also finally started doing OPKs and BBT this cycle. ... I like what you said about your DH! Mine has been a real trooper taking one for the team every other night.

Rae, Those symptoms sound promising! When do you plan on testing?

Lolo, I hate how capable our minds are of making up symptoms. Makes it hard to tell when we really are experiencing something for real. your symptoms are for real and get worse!

AFM, I'm cd16 and finally got a +OPK today (I think). I'll do more for the next few days until I'm convinced I've O'd. I also had a lot of EWCM today. Dh has already been warned that we'll be doing the BD tonight. We did it last night and will probably do it again for the next few days. (Really, such a trooper!) I'm very ready to move on to the other TWW!

@lol - i hope they are real symptoms and not just coincidental things. That's so hard!!! ugh!!!

I think holidays are probably a difficult time to temp? traveling, not waking up/going to bed at the same time. I think that may all play a role. I will temp tomorrow I guess, since I'm going to work and hope for a high temp, because I should be 7 or 8 dpo tomorrow. (-:

I'm on CD11 and should be O'ing this weekend!! 2nd month trying :) If we get lucky we'll have a very end of September baby (est DD 9/26) just in time for our one year anniversary in the beginning of Oct!

Hi everyone. Well, I'm at the 10dpo and have had some pinky/orangey colour spotting today. Thinking the witch is nigh, even though it due until 3 Jan. Got hopes up a little with spotting at 6dpo and other symptoms not typical of my usual cycle, so feeling pretty disheartened now.

Well, it's New Years eve eve so I'm going to see out this year and then put some pressure on the docs in 2015 to help me find out what's going on. Been trying too long with no joy.

Well, starting to get slight cramps and that moist feeling "down there" some get right before AF shows up. Still hoping it's not but I had a feeling too that we might've missed our mark this month. Oh well...I guess only time will tell. I plan to test tomorrow morning because I plan to drink tomorrow night if it comes back negative. So I guess we will see. FX'd!

AFM- I'm 8 DPO today and trying not to symptom spot. I keep convincing myself we will have to keep the RE appt next month but hoping I'm wrong. If we do have to go I'm going to make sure we hit 5 Guys Burgers though so I'm looking forward to that! We don't have one around here. I need to make notes every month to help with my symptom spotting though. My BBS are sooooo sore today. Hoping they aren't usually this sore and it's a symptom but I just don't know if it's all in my head and they're always this sore. My temp went up today so that's encouraging. I just hope it stays up!

Anyway! Hope everyone has a Happy New Year and lots of 2015 BFP's! I plan on testing on January 3rd. I want to know if we need to keep or cancel our RE appt so testing for that but also my uncles funeral is that day and my family seems to believe that when someone dies we get another blessing. But I guess I must believe that too
