Idk - why do our bodies treat us so?? I haven't done the bbt yet, but I would definitely recommend ovulation tests if you don't know when you're ovulating. I never knew why we weren't getting pregnant, but found out last month that I ovulated around cd 23! Almost 10 days later than "normal" cycles. Charting temps really helps you confirm when you ovulated, but testing with opks help you know when you will. I got the cheapies on Amazon. You can get a ton way cheaper there and get hpt tests, too!
AFM - Still crazy things going on with my body. I guess it's keeping me from really focusing on ttc and relax instead. No spotting today!
and to all!

Amazon has basal thermometers, so you could check there. (-:
AFM, should ovulate Christmas Eve. I have these new OPK test strips and it looks positive to me today, but I am new to using these strips, too. I don't think it should be positive this early so I don't know that it's accurate. I slept in too late this morning to use my fertility monitor, so I will use that again in the morning and temp. (-:

Got my smiley on my OPK today. Praying we catch the egg! Interestingly, at our family Christmas party last night my aunt told me she had a dream I was pregnant. Nobody knows we have been trying and given my age I think they would be somewhat suprised to know we are. She said every time she has had a dream someone was pregnant it turns out they were. I know Im obviously not pregnant now but I really hope she's predicting the very near future!

Hello girls! I'm 10 dpiui and going nuts! I'm desperate to test, but have to wait 2 days as I used an HCG trigger shot 12 days ago and need to wait 14 days for it to be out of my system to avoid a false positive. Tomorrow is my birthday so I'm hoping for a late birthday present or early Christmas present on my doctor's appointment on the 23rd.
Fingers crossed for all of us this month!

Nharty: With my last 2 pregnancies I ovulated on cd21. I had hoped that would remain the same, but since we haven't had a bfp yet I'm doing the opk's to be sure.
TTClate30's: My mom dreamed I was pregnant with my last one. Same thing as your aunt, she had no idea we were trying. And I had already started bleeding so I wasn't even gonna do an hpt. But thanks to the dream I did test and was pregnant. So here's hoping you get your bfp this time!
AFM: Not much going on. Cd8 and started O tests yesterday just to be safe. Gotta love poas!

Hi Ladies,
Hope you all had a great weekend! I finally finished all my Christmas wrapping. Have maybe 2 more things to get for DH's stocking and then I am DONE!
awebste: Your temps are still looking great! I see you had a 2nd day of as well!
idk3333: I got my BBT from Walgreen's. I think basically any pharmacy should have one. But if you can't find one, there is a great site that seems to be very helpful in fertility stuff called Baby Hopes. Google it, should be the top site that comes up. They have them there too.
TTClate30's: I pray your Aunts dream is a prediction! And those aren't very good friends if they made you feel that way. Glad we have this forum though. I feel bad for not telling my families about it but the timing of everything has just been off. I just pray it doesn't spill out sometime during the festivities next weekend.
I also pray this winter turns out more mild than last Winter...that was simply brutal.
I just have a good feeling about this year coming up.
hanna28: WOW hosting 2 gatherings! That's impressive! The only thing that got me through Thanksgiving was my Vodka Tonics...lol...I have bad feet and the Tonic water helps with that but I can't drink just Tonic water...gross! How far along are you in your cycle? The last month showing on your page is Oct. I plan to test each day of gatherings just to make sure I am not PG so I can drink throughout that day...lol. If I see a positive I will definitely be taking it easy...and what a nice surprise that would be. I pray for your sake that you don't get any announcements this year. It really is hard and I have no idea how I will handle it if there is one this year...especially after everything I have been through.
aletheok: Regarding your OPK test...is the control line the one by the green? If so I vote with the others by saying you have O'd. I'd say you have covered your bases pretty good.
Elizebeth87: It is so hard to not symptom spot. I find myself doing the same thing and I have no idea if I O'd yet...this month has been very confusing which I will mention below in my AFM section. Hope this is our month!
Rach3641: Welcome and
kelley828: hope you get your Christmas wish!
scoobyfanatic56: and
Helly_79: Oh, I am so sorry for your losses! Is the doc doing any additional testing for deficiencies or genetic testing? I pray this is your year as well.
AFM: Well, I have no idea what my body is doing. Last week when I took my first OPK the test line looked pretty dark but the digital part still said it was negative. So thankfully that night we BD'd. Starting to wish we BD'd the night before. Anyhow, the next day the test line was lighter and every day taking the test still has not come out positive. I had a huge jump yesterday morning and then a huge drop today in temps. I honestly thought maybe with the huge drop in temp the test would come up positive but nope. Starting to think with the bad cramping I had a few days ago that maybe I O'd early and possibly in my TWW? I still get slight cramps but not like it was a couple days ago...that was very uncomfortable and made me think O pain. DH and I are still going to keep BD'ing at least a couple more times and see what happens. At least I can take comfort that if this isn't our month at least next month we start the IUI's again.

Hi Everyone,
New to posting, but thought I'd jump in. DH and I have been TTC for what seems like FOREVER (really 2 years), and every month the 2WW seems harder to deal with.
Had IUI last Monday, and the numbers looked really good... I had 3 (maybe 4) follicles, and DH's count was great.
Trying to balance between being hopeful that this month we'll get our sticky bean, and not getting my hopes up too much!
A Christmas baby would be the best present in the world! Fingers crossed for all of you that are also waiting...
Sending your way.
Here's hoping for a ! All positive thoughts appreciated :)

Hi Ladies,
Well the more and more I think about it, I am really starting to think I did O early and I think I am in my TWW. So mad at myself for not temping when I should have...just got up not thinking about it. The reason I think I O'd early is mostly because of the certain symptoms I am having...extreme fatigue, headache, low back and hip pain, sensitive nips, extremely thirsty, etc. But I have not stopped using the OPK's and I am still taking my temp. I think I have 3 more tests left. So, with that being said, I will probably continue using those up then just stop. If this isn't our month then I will go out and buy more. DH and I are still BD'ing at least through the week and hopefully the weekend. It's hard with his work schedule and Christmas. And then this weekend we have the kids to celebrate Christmas with our families. I also plan to test with an HPT this weekend and next week just to be on the safe side before we go out and celebrate with family and friends this weekend and New Years Eve.
She_Ra: Welcome and to you this month. I know how you feel with the FOREVER comment. DH & I are coming up on 2 years too. We are at the moment in our 22nd cycle. That is great news about the IUI and the good numbers! When DH & I had ours done a couple months ago we had 2 good follicles and his count was good too and it worked. Sadly it didn't stick but next month, if it doesn't work for us this month on our own, we are doing another and hopefully that one sticks.
for you and hope you get your Christmas wish!

Thanks Lolo, much appreciated! It's nice to hear from someone who has been through a similar timeline (I think we're at 23 months).
Fingers crossed for you both too... Sorry for your loss, wishing for a sticky Christmas baby for you too!
Sounds like you have your BDing covered.
Will look forward to hearing updates as you have them!
