amag--I'm alright. Getting ready to head out to costco. I love costco!

@JLHart: Thanks girl! I had a great time yesterday! I hope you had your day of nothingness yesterday!! Sounds amazing!

@amag: Thanks so much. I wasn't super close to my coworker, so though its tragically sad, I was able to have an amazing time yesterday. My shower yesterday had 12 people and that was almost too many. It was hard to talk to everyone and the present opening dragged out. So a small shower is prefect. They are more intimate and everyone is constantly included. My next shower will have about 25 people so I know it will just be insane! I am SOOOOO ready for some football!! Can't wait! I wish the games were on sooner! So with this gathering you are having - will everyone be bringing their kids? You are SOOOO sweet. I am truly blessed to have had all of you girls with me through ttc and my pregnancy. I feel like I have so many best friends in you girls.

@law: My shower was everything I dreamed of and more. Thanks!! Please also see my reply to amag about regarding shower size. Smaller showers are perfect! Your law school friends would come to a shower right? And even if you do have a shower with just dh's family it will be great. They LOVE you and want to support you and your growing family :) 2-3 friends is more than enough for a shower. Go to lunch, play a game, talk about babies, boobs, sex, all the great stuff!

@afmedic: I'm with you - I cannot dance but I don't let it stop me from trying, lol. I hope your house cleaning went ok. My brother in law is coming over today for the later game so we have some time to do some cleaning. I am hoping dh does the cleaning :) Heheh. Have fun with you friends today!

@luv: Baby showers aren't about asking for gifts. Its amazing how excited the people in your life get. I posted to my status on facebook yesterday (which I never post to facebook... The last time I posted to facebook was after my 20 week u/s), 'very excited for my baby shower today' and even my guy friends were liking my status. People love babies and want to shower the new little bundle! Yes, Troy was very sexy. I don't think he has a very cute face personally, but I put my arm around his back and good god is was ROCK HARD. Not an ounce of fat. My friend that was in the photo with me got all twitterpaited and blushed and was fanning herself. It was so funny! So glad you are in the tww. Can't wait for the next two weeks to fly by for both you and amag!!

AFM: My shower was wonderful yesterday - all I dreamed of and more! Even though it ran kind of long I think everyone had a great time. I got an amazing amount of stuff, oddly though, most of the stuff wasn't from the registries I was so worried about getting done. I think I ended up with too many 3 month outfits so I need to do some exchanging pronto. The food was fantastic and the icecream cake was to die for! In fact, I need to eat some breakfast so I can have me a small piece. Haha! Can't wait for football today! Go Seahawks!!

SMH your shower sounds awesome! So glad you got so much stuff! One thing I really liked about my friend's baby shower is she wrote down who bought her daughter what outfit, so one day we met up for coffee and she brought her daughter wearing the dress I'd bought for the baby shower :) It was really cute! Also glad to hear Troy Aikman is still ripped ;) LOL!

AFM I was pretty pissed this morning because my temp dropped totally inexplicably. It was back up about 90 minutes after my normal temping time. Honestly I still think I ovulated for several reasons. First of all I do not feel cold, so I'm not sure why my temp is down. Second, my OPKs are negative now. Third, I have been constipated for two days and that ONLY happens either after I ovulate or when I'm on Clomid (which I'm not this month). So yeah, maybe my hormones are a bit wonky but I refuse to let it get me down. DH and I BD'd just in case though. Cannot friggin' WAIT for football today. My friend texted me if I wanted to go to the casino and I was like "bitch it's FOOTBALL DAY " ;) Most women don't get it so I'm glad there are some football fans here! May the best teams win! Especially not the 69ers. ;)

@luv: My mom wrote down everything people got me for thank you cards but not exactly what they got. I tried to keep the cards with the items so maybe I can go back and put two and two together. Honestly, I got soo much stuff I don't know if I could ever keep it all straight. I know I'd be honored to see the baby in what I purchased though so I will try!

Hmmm... don't know what to say about the wonky temp. It does sound like you O'd though so I wouldn't worry about it. Sorry you are constipated though :(

Yes!!!!!!!!! Football!! EEEK! Can't wait!! And you are right! I'm up for anyone winning other than those dag 49ers. Yuck! Well, and to be honest, I'd like the broncos to lose too. I just can't stand Manning....

SMH--no, my law school friends will be all over the country at that point and no one is from my hometown or even nearby so none of them will be around. The only friends that will come are my lifelong friends (there's about 2-3 that are still around and could come) and I love them but having just them wouldn't be the perfect shower I've envisioned a shower to be. Ya know? I'm so happy yours was great. What kind of ice cream cake was it? What other yummies did you have? I love get togethers...I really do. DH's family is really close so there's often family get togethers for no real reason and there's heaps of delicious food and just bonding. I did marry into a fantastic family and for that I am truly blessed.

Luv--costco was great--a couple GREAT samples. I love samples. Yep, shamelessly :) haha I hope you enjoy the game today!

Smh: glad you had a great shower and that does sound like a perfect number..lol as far as everyone coming over I leave it to them wether they bring their kids or not. Some will some won't some like to drink so they will have a sitter for the night...lol the dogs will be very occupied today with the kids. When they are around my dogs want nothing to do with me...lol oh well.. i too agree I'm shooting for the pars and seahawks for the superbowl. I can o without manning and as love says the 69ers can stay home.. hope all enjoy the rest of your day lol

@law: hopefully you can have a shower before law school is over :) glad you had fun at Coscto!! I love Costco too, but since I've not been able to consume the amount of lettuce I'm accustom to due to my reflux we haven't been going as often. I miss it! Lol. The icecream cake was chocolate cake with cookie dough icecream from Baskin Robbins. They messed up on the decorations though so my MIL raised holy hell and they have her the cake for free! I couldn't believe it. It was a $55 cake! Lets see .. The other food included a fruit tray, veggie tray, assorted cheese and crackers, and tons of hot hors doeurves. It was all amazing. I really like fruit and cheese so I was in heaven! I am so glad you love and get along with dh's family.

@amag: OMG! I am so jealous of your moms job!! I love the all American chocolate cake from Costco!! It's the round 3 or 4 layer cake. Delish! You should have your mom sneak you the recipe then sneak it to me!! I hope it's Seattle and the patriots in the Super Bowl but I'll hate to be rooting against you :(

AFM: ~1 hr until today's first game!! Wooho!!

SMH--wow! I am drooling over here...though not by the cake since I'm really not a chocolate person as odd as that seems.
