Good morning all! Got another flashing smiley face on my CB OPK a few minutes ago :( it would be so much more convenient for me if I would just O already because we've already BD the last three days in a row. But at least my estrogen levels are rising and my temps look good for pre-O.

Dragonfly and kmangal, I know...I'm going to have to do some super bribing to keep this BD'ing going lol, they definitely are not as horny as they act. I put my cycle info into an O calculator/calendar online and it says I'm not even supposed to O until Sunday! Goodness, I feel like it's much closer than that because of the cramping. Not looking forward to the sore neck and jaw I'm going to have. Hopefully the LH peak comes sooner than Sunday or I feel like it's just not going to happen this cycle.

Odette, that all sounds so hard on the female body, with all the injections and hormones and stuff, I hope it's going well for you.

@dragonfly in total almost 8 years ttc but had corrective surgery in my uterus this year and this is our 4th month ttc after surgery.
No symptoms yet but its been a crazy week my grandmother passed away so honestly not been symptom checking(blessing in disguise).
We never had a problem falling pregnant all early losses and honestly the only symptoms I ever got was some breast tenderness which i get before af anyway thus not much of a symptom and the other symptom was irratability towards dh( shame).
We are on the full monty letrozole, fsh shots, trigger shot, progesterone, vits and folic acid, spermaid for him and added preseed from last month.
We honestly only found and could afford( all cod) doctors this year and am glad they are taking an aggresive approach.
We have an appointment after beta test results next friday to determine whether we will go on to IUI or go on with current approach.

@mrsbutler only TI with meds and the shots etc are hectic mostly hate the progestetone makes me tired and weepy and I am not really the crying type but dh and family are great support with awesome sense of humour making it much easier.

Odette, I'm so sorry about your grandmother. At what point during your earlier TTC cycles did you decide you needed to see a doctor? And how so?

I guess I'm just so paranoid I have a fertility issue but I go back and forth when I read symptoms on Google haha. And then I'm like, oh God it's worse if it's him and not me.

And what does TI stand for?

@mrsbutler. I wouldn't BD too much as the little guys won't have enough time to rejuvenate; but that's me but hey, no one says sex is too much.

@OdetteK. Wow, that's a long time trying to conceive. Must be very hard for you all these years and getting BFN's right after the other. I sure hope the surgery was successful and you get your BFP soon. So sorry to hear about your grandmother passing away. I lost my best friend in January and my grandpa in March. Still struggling emotionally some days.

I was going to mention something earlier but as usual it slipped my mind lol. I have a Facebook account (like everyone else on here) and they have these silly tests that you can take for shitts and giggles. The one test was, "What will happen to you this month?" So, I took that test for fun and what the response was, "You will get pregnant" I couldn't help not to share it as it was funny. Just thought I'd share that. I take all these tests with a grain of salt until it actually happens.

@ mrsbutler we only saw a docter after 2 losses but that docter and the following were definetly not great doctors they werent interested in findng or looking for the cause. We only got the right docters this year and their suggestion is to see a reproductive specialist after a year of ttc if under 35 and after 6 months if over 35 I think thats a good measure to work with.
The tests are actually so quick and easy the part that freaked me out was that even if they test everything most people dont get an answer. Current doc says if they find a reason they can fix it which is reassuring.
Dont stress about what could or could not be we drive ourselves crazy mostly for no reason ( easier said than done).
TI is timed intercourse basically what we are all doing just easier as my scans and trigger shot force O thus taking the guess wotk out of it.
If you feel you want intervention clomid or letrozole would be a good and simple start and should be docs first resort before any testing anyway read up.on the differences between the 2 meds so you atleast have a clear idea what it would entail
and loads of that this month you get your bfp and all these worries would be in the past!

I know, I've been thinking okay maybe we slow down on the BD'ing but at the same time it's like we might be right there. I mean, how long does it take LH to peak after estrogen rises?

I'm so sorry about your best friend and grandpa. I've lost several people over the last year so I know how it feels.

Odette, I hope you get yours too! After all you've been through and you're going through, I'm like trying to send you any pregnancy luck I might have! lol

@mrsbutler. I hope so too. I need a pick me up as my day hasn't been going so well and feeling a bit down. It's pretty sad that some people who are in their 40's cannot take care of themselves financially and I am their "Go To" person for money for smokes and what really bothers me is that I don't smoke anymore (my goal before I got pregnant with my DD) and then I get the guilt trip saying, thanks for everything. I'm sorry, I have my own family to take care of and I am the only person working (husband is retired; age is only a number and he stays home with DD while I work. I know I shouldn't stress over people as it is not healthy when TTC but its frustrating some days.

I wouldn't worry so much this cycle about too much BDing, I think the more the marrier . Should see my stats from 2015 when we first started trying for our first lol. I tried searching to see how long it takes for LH to peak and having a rough time finding info.
