We are stationed at jblm in washington but after this tour we are moving to colorado . :) thanks for the warm welcomes ladies ! I feel the next few cycles are gonna be lucky I just know it ...and for some reason the january cycle really stands out to me soooo we shall see ...maybe this cycle will be lucky because it will be regular ?? Kristin, I bought mine at a whole vitamins store. Just make sure if you buy some it doesnt have YAMS in it. I did my research before I brought some and for some reason the progesterone Cream with Yams in it isn't good for TTCers. I don't think Walmart carries it. Thank you!

Morning girls, bug have you been tested for a hormone inbalance? I was diagnosed with firbomyalgia in Oct 2010 and had been put on some horrid meds. When I was visiting my home town for X-mas that year, I went to see my GP (family doctor for 29 years) and he didn't think the diagnosis was right. He ran some pretty full on tests and we found I had a hormone inbalance causing all my symtoms. I told him we wanted to TTC in 2011, so he recommended I try a natural vitamin called Natures Own PMS Essentials.

http://cincottachemist.com.au/product/864426-buy-natures-own-pms-essentials-2679-tablets-50-online

I started taking these in Feb 2011. AF was always irregular since I was 17 due to my imper hyman and although I knew when she was meant to show, she could range any where from 20 days up to 36 days and from very light to very very heavy.

So after his recommendation and 6 months I noticed my af had regulated on a 25 day cycle and was the same flow ( L,M,H,L). We have been TTC since Jan, but knew it was a hit and miss. Plus DH works in the merchant navy, so he's away every 6 weeks.
Nov we went to see our GYN and she ran some blood tests. All my hormon levels were normal and I was about to O, so we BD'ed and bang! 2 days before he was due to go back to work we got our BFP.

The tablet helped with alot of other things, including my moods!

Tanya, I haven't been tested for anything yet. But I have pretty regular cycles and never had any issues with getting AF while on and off BC over the last 15 years. But doesn't mean I don't have some kind of hormonal imbalance. I'm going to look up those pills and if I get Af go out and try them. Can't hurt. Anything to help my moods would be great since my DH can't stay them at all around Af time. LOL

Kristin, Your welcome and I'm glad your trying it out. Never heard of sitawari. I'll have to look it up. Fx'd

This morning I woke up with a sore throat but the strangest thing about waking up this morning is when I took my temp and I pulled out the thermometer from the place down under there was a string of CM. That has never happened before. Plus my temp rose again on 9dpo which never happens 9 dpo is when my temps normally start to fall. I'm really hoping and praying that means a BFP will greet me tomorrow or in the next coming days.

and to all who are trying!!!

Hey Ladies! I am so excited to see the new TTC'ers :) That is exciting. And so nice to hear from you again Prayin. I am absolutely praying that this coming month will be your month :)

Welcome knicole :) Sorry to hear about your irregular cycles. I definitely hear you though, I don't think that I would ever go back on the pill. I think the affects from it are a lot longer lasting than they say.

Welcome Elizabeth :) My fellow Canadian! I am very sorry to hear about your losses and I wish you the best of luck :)

Bug/ Hannah- You are in my thoughts every day :) I really hope this is your month, been praying for you :)

AFM- well, yes I am somewhat taking a break from ttc, but just in the manner that I'm not keeping track of anything or taking an supplements. We still bd without any bc. Even though I am not keeping track, two things I can't ignore are the O pains I get, and the significant increase in cm. I'm on CD 16 today, and i usually O on CD 15, but I really don't even think I O'd this month. I haven't had either symptom yet. I've read though that even perfectly healthy women can miss O every once in a while, so maybe I did. Honestly though, it's pretty sad, for how little bd we've done lately I don't think it would even possible if I did O this cycle. I'm just feeling like we're in a big rut right now sexually.

hannah - any news on the poas front? fingers crossed for you!
oh, and to your aspirin comment - i spoke with my doctor about it and she said that while it seems to help some people, it's not necessarily recommended for just anyone to take as anti-inflammatory drugs have been linked to problems. i've read that aspirin might actually just prolong an unhealthy pregnancy from ending naturally, which is obviously something i'd like to avoid. i'll definitely be asking the specialist about it though - if it's something as easy as popping a pill every day, then that'd be amazing!

katiemay - do you have any insight into why you're 'rutting' (for lack of a better term)? i know we definitely go through ebbs and flows. hopefully it's nothing more than that. ttc can definitely take its toll though - i've had to remind myself more than once that first and foremost it should be fun, and if we get pregnant, that's awesome too.

afm - got a positive opk today. weirdly though (details follow...), i'm having af-like cramping and slight pink spotting. not sure what the hell is up with that, but i'm not going to worry about it unless it keeps up.

thanks to everyone for the welcome! i hope to hear all about your BFPs soon enough!
