good afternoon ladies...i was a past TTCer and i wanted to check in and see how everyone was progressing...

i was reading also about the baby aspirin - my friend who had 2 6 week miscarriages then a chemical pregnancy was diagnosed with a clotting disorder which was causing the MC. She was started on baby ASA to prevent that..So for anyone who has had 3 MC - see a specialist and find a reason...i did take a baby ASA while TTC, dont know if it did anything..

And for the DH who gets what i called stage fright, it happens to alot of guys..its stressful for them too, esp when a baby is half of them...some guys dont always share their thoughts and fears..see if you can pull it out of them..and after that...what helps is a few drinks to losen up : )

good luck to you all and i do think of my old TTC buddies and hope you are all doing ok...i read through the new posts and it seems like there have been some bumpy roads...

keep the faith...

xoxo

Hi Melissa- Thanks for your reassuring words :) Glad to see you are doing well!

Yes, I think I am going to take the advice of a lot of ladies on here, and not keep dh so up to date at where I am in my cycle, it's better that he doesn't know when I'm Oing or not so there's no pressure. I've promised myself to not talk about it anymore with him. I may still track my bbt for my own sake, but just not be vocal about it.

Ya, this newest forum has been a bit of a sad one :( Still waiting on Bug, L, Katie and myself to get our BFP's, plus our new ladies. Hopefully it'll happen soon for us :)

Katiemay, thanks I'm just glad I didn't have to wait much longer either. I'm sorry your DH couldn't finish. I haven't had that happened to me yet but I did get where I didn't think my hubby was attractive to me anymore because when I tried to get BDing to happen he wouldn't do it with me. But that has passed over now. Your not out till AF shows. Sad one indeed and not so hopping as the last two. LOL. We will get those BFPS.

Aby, thanks. I heart you.

Melissa, glad to see you are doing well. Bumpy roads are right. Hugs to you.

Ladies, I think I finally O'd. Cd 29 or 30 not sure. I got BDing on the 17th but haven't been pushing it like I was in the last couple of weeks. I'm just glad to see my temps finally rising. I'm going to see how my temps are tomorrow before I determine if I did O or not but here's to hoping they stay high. If I did then Af will be here in 11 to 12 days. Just glad to know I finally O'd even if I didn't catch the eggie.

Yay bug :) Glad to hear you probably O'd :) That's very good news.

Ya, I'm definitely backing off the whole ttc thing with DH for the time being. I'm still gonna my thing, but keep it private.

I feel so terrible though, because Mon and Tues I was really pushing bding because I thought I was Oing, and those were the two nights he couldn't finish because of the pressure. And now I can obviously see by my chart that I actually did O on Sunday. And we BD on the Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun. So I just feel like the past two days were just a bunch of wasted angry energy.

But, then I thought about it, and thought that I would not have wanted to conceive a baby by forced sex, and I'm kind of glad the past two days didn't work out. Because we had a wonderful weekend together, and if we are lucky enough that it happens this time I would know that it was from when we were having lots of fun.

And with that thought, I'm not going to try and make bd happen anymore if this isn't our lucky month. Because I'd rather know we conceived our precious baby through having fun and truly being happy and loving each other, not by something forced that we weren't really into.

So, I wish I could erase the last two days, but live and learn. I told Dh yesterday lets just forget about the last 2 days because we had a wonderful weekend and he agreed.

So, I guess now I'm in my 2 ww, 4 dpo. Fingers crossed :)

Katie, Good luck on your tww! I'd say that's the worst wait ever! Just keep yourself busy and the time will fly! I don't know how I did it, for me it was a three week wait! I didn't want a repeat of last month when I tested too early, so I decided to wait a week after my period was due. In my heart I knew this was it, I actually had different symptoms for instance, what really gave it away was on New Years Eve (I was already late), we went to my parents party and we were with friends, on our way to the party my friend asked if I was pregnant because my belly was swollen! I knew something was going on because I didn't feel bloated but I noticed that my belly was swollen especially where my uterus is. That has never happened to me, not even when I'm bloated from my period, so that's how I knew. I also had and still do, and increase in cm. I can't wait to hear your stories!

Bug, I'm sure you O'd! Yeah for your tww!! Try and keep your mind off of the tww, thankfully for me it was christmas time so I was severely distracted. I'm so excited for you all!

Katiemay, Thanks! I totally understand how you feel. I quit saying when I O'd with my hubby but my hubby mentally knows now when I'm due to O. LOL so sometimes he will get things going around my fertile window.

aby, Yes, officially O'd Yay, Thank goodness I have my anniversary Sunday to keep my mind off it for awhile and my doctors appointment next Thursday. But I'm thinking we didn't catch the eggie already because we only BD on the 17th which was O date and the 3 days before that. Haven't anymore since but I O'd 9 days later and not sure if that eggie will be good still. But atleast I know when to expect Af now. 30th or 31st of January.

Ladies, I just wanted to share what a wonderful weekend I had. Friday night, my hubby came home with steaks, salad, and bake potatoes. He grilled up the steaks and made me dinner. We watched a romantic comedy during dinner. Then on Saturday, we went to the American Museum of Energy in Oak Ridge, TN which is where the atomic bomb was built that was dropped in Japan. After that we went walking around his hometown downtown area which is known for its Antique stores. Then on Sunday, our one year anniversary we woke up and gave our presents to one another. I got an hour swedish massage scheduled for today. Super excited. Then we went to Galtinburg, TN which is where we eloped at and went to the Titanic museum. Talk about an emotional museum to be in. It is extra special this year because April 12, 2012 is the 100th anniversary of the sinking and they had a memorial room where you put a rose petal in a box and said wishes and then the Coast Guard is going to take the rose petals from the museum to the spot of the sinking on 4-12. I felt like I will be a part of history. Then we to the Aquarium and of course I was like a kid in a candy store because I absolutely love fish, they are so relaxing and calming. We then went to Bubba Gump's restaurant, where we ate at on our wedding night and guess what we had the same waitress we had last year. Thought that was pretty cool. So, all in all I had a wonderful one year anniversary.

On the TTC front, my temps are still rising. and I haven't actually thought about it all that much this past 6 days. Appointment is set for Thursday at 1040am eastern time and I can't wait to get that appointment over with. Looking forward to some answer. In a really good mood today.

Bradsummer- Thanks very much :) Fortunately I've been pretty busy so the 2 WW hasn't been too bad. And we're getting ready to go on vacation so that has kept me busy :) I had a great weekend, went shopping with my mom and then SUnday was my friend's baby shower. Which was a little difficult, especially when my friend's mom asked me in front of a room full people when I'm having a baby. But, other than that it was a great, busy weekend.

And wow do you have will power! I don't think I could wait until AF was a week late, but that's very smart.

Bug- Your weekend sounds absolutely amazing! That really neat about the titanic, I have always been really interested in it. A friend of the family actually has a name tag from a worker on the titanic. I bet that massage will be amazing!

And that is so exciting to hear that your temps are still rising! Maybe you're just having a longer than usual cycle.

AFM- I'm 8 dpo today. Trying not to overthink anything too much. I have had some unusal cramps, an increase in really thick cm, and a bit of nausea, but I'm trying not to read too far into any of it. I'm going to take a test Friday before we leave at 12 dpo I think, if I can get the courage up to lol.

Well ladies, 9 dpo. Really can't tell one way or the other. Fortunately I've been so focused on our trip I really haven't been thinking about it too much. I've still be recording everything, but haven't once even slightly convinced myself that I'm prego, I'm just staying totally neutral.

I get so nervous about going away. I think I have a bit of ocd about it, I'm just not good at relaxing. I'm paranoid that something will happen to our house or my cats. My mom says I'll be a good mom cuz I worry about my cats like they're my children lol. But I have our neighbours and my mom checking in regularly, and even purchased international text messages so I can text and make sure everything is okay :)

I am seriously looking forward to a week free of driving to work in crappy winter weather, work in general, cooking, cleaning, laundry, that will be so nice :)

So, I splurged this month and got a first response that tells you how far along you are because i figure that's the only way DH would believe me if i was pregnant. I'd only use it after I confirmed it with another test though. Man those things are expensive- $20! Wouldn't wanna be buying those every month.

I hope everyone else is doing well :) Haven't heard much from our newbies this round, hope you're all doing great!

Good morning ladies!

Just checking in to see how my lovely ladies are doing...

Bug-your trip sounded amazing! I wish my hubby would do something romantic like that for me!!

What exact day is the Titanic anniversary? Cuz my birthday is the 27th of April and I never knew the Titanic sunk in April!! As sad as that day was...its kind of neat to have my birthday the same month...I will be 22 this year...time def flies!

Katie - I am looking forward to hearing if you finally got that BFP on friday! And I hope you have a wonderful trip... as you know hubby and I leave Sunday and I am very excited to have a whole week of NOTHING but reading some books...laying on the beach and waking up when ever i feel like it.
I might even get up just to eat breaky and then go back to sleep!

Brad- glad you are doing well! and I am happy things are better this time around!

Melissa - good to hear from you again

Aside from all the trouble the ladies seem to be having, I have high hopes for 2012. Whether you finally find out whats causing the issues with TTC or you finally get that BFP you always wanted and surly deserve. Things will be brighter this year.

AFM - Getting very excited for my MUCH NEEDED vacation...It couldnt come soon enough. And it when I get back I will only have 6 months till my EDD so it doesnt seem so long now... work feels like its getting more stressful for me which I'm sure that my emotional state has something to do with but regardless...

Good luck ladies..I am always reading even if I dont reply to make sure you are all doing well!!

xoxoxo
