Ladies how do you get the readings on the opks? Is it an app?

I'm 8DPO and have been testing but white so far. Breasts definitely feel bigger and painful. I'm going to test tomorrow morning as it's Mothers day here in the UK. I'm not expecting to see anything but would be a lovely surprise! xx

Good luck ladies! Some of you are just so close to your positive OPKs!! I am trying to decide what I am going to do this cycle. I am still temping for sure. What I am still trying to decide on is if I am going to use the digital OPKs again or if I am just going to use the cheap ones. The digital ones really frustrated me this last cycle since they gave me the flashing smiley face for over a week, I then ran out of tests before I could get a solid smiley face and had to only use my cheapies I had left over. So I am not sure what to do. I was able to get a lot more bding in before my peak day because of the flashing smiley, but then I didn't get the day before O day because I had to switch to the cheapies. Just want some feedback and opinions on what might be a better option!! Thanks Ladies!!!!

Update on my situation: doctors suspect I did not miscarry completely, that there is leftover tissue that could still be growing, causing the very slow rise in hcg. This may require a D&C, they want to check my levels again in a week to see if something needs to be done. Levels are not rising nearly fast enough for it to be a healthy, viable pregnancy. If my levels start dropping with my next reading, I may not need the D&C, which is what I'm hoping.

I'm just happy to have a possible answer, but hoping I won't need surgery for D&C. I've never been put under and the idea scares the crap outta me! Ready to move past this. This has scared hubby and myself too much to ttc anymore. We'll be starting our adoption process in a couple weeks, to see how this turns out.

Okay so I decided to keep taking the progesterone until I go see the doctor again on the 9th... I'm sure he wouldn't give me something to harm baby so I'm calmed down about it... I mean my levels rose to the highest they have ever been so that's good already!! I'm starting to get nausea in the mornings but as far as symptoms go that's it... My toothache is still here going on day 3 now I'm heading to town at 9 to buy clove oil as it works for my teeth... If no relief by the end of the week I'll go to a dentist

Shay Personally when I’m charting I prefer the cheapies. I’m already spending on this ttc more that I should and I suspect I will have to spent more till I finally make it so for me works just fine. Something along with temps and cm just to ensure that I’m on the right track.

Crystal so sorry you have to go through all of this. I really hope you won’t need the procedure and to get back to normal soon! I cannot even imagine how hard this could be. It’s trully amazing that you and your husband still thinking of adoption

Anna I’m so happy your levels keep rising but if something is bothering you maybe you should call your doctor instead of waiting till you see him.
It’s so refreshing to read your pregnancy symptoms! You giving me so much hope!! Of course I’m not happy that you’re having nausea and toothache lol but you know what I mean!! Clove is really good for toothache.. Here in Greece we chew it as it is when in pain. I really hope it will help!

AFM somewhere around 10-12DPO and I started having period like cramps but lighter.. the ones I get days before AF arrives so I’m waiting for her to show her ugly face soon! Also I’m having now the slightest pain in the bottom of my boobs so yea....Tbh since yesterday I started feeling this 2ww anxiety again and I’m not here for it at all! I was doing just fine This is my 12cycle of actively ttc and in 2 days I’m counting 8 full years of BDing without protection but without ever temping or all that Jazz.. Let’s hope for a 2020 baby but I’m not getting any younger and it’s kinda sad....
anyways! You never know! Miracles happen every day!

Hi ladies, i’m finally back from my trip and have a little more time to read all of your updates. I have my fingers crossed for everyone this month.
Anna I hope your tooth ache goes away soon but it may be better to see a dentist sooner rather than later. If you have an infection it could require more meds and more expensive procedures the longer you wait. It may actually save you money to go sooner.
@Alex glad you got to enjoy a well deserved vacation. I’m sorry you feel like AF is coming. Miracles do happen every day and I just know there is one in store for you!

AFM, i should be 6 weeks now. I still haven’t seen a doctor and my first appointment will most likely be in about 2 weeks (I called to schedule it on Friday but couldn’t get a hold of the right person and had to leave a voicemail). Things seem to progress the way they should though so I feel pretty calm.

@Crystal so sorry you had to deal with that. Hopefully it takes care of itself on its own. But I will tell you a D&C isn’t so terrible. I just had to have one in Feb and I was terrified. Everything went smoothly and I felt much better after.
@Anna I hope you tooth feels better soon!
AFM my opks still aren’t positive yet thought today would be pretty close but still about the same. Been bding just so we don’t miss it this month.
