@Basia - YAY! Great numbers to start - fingers crossed they go in the right direction on Tuesday! (-:

AFM - AF started today. Go in tomorrow for beta anyway, and hope to schedule my baseline tomorrow.

While I kind of hate to even say anything like this, April would be a nice month for a BFP since I'm turning 30 this month!

More optimistic today, although things will be moving slowly from now on! The only thing that worries me is that I am getting older and older....
I took the blood test, only for the record and I booked an appointment with the IVF clinic, which will be on 7th of May. The clinic is the top one , so I have to follow their schedule, availability and of course there will be no immediacy!
Until then, I ll try to rest and enjoy!

Good morning Ladies,

kethryes - I hope you don't have to wait too long for the IVF clinic.

While - I'm sorry AF showed

red - I hope someone gets back to you soon.

AFM - I finally got my +OPK. I should be going in for my IUI tomorrow. I'm relieved, excited and nervous. I hope this works. Please send me positive thoughts if you can.

While- I am lucky too- my insurance covers up to $2,000 of infertility treatments at 80/20 so I am only paying around $150 for an IUI- but ultra sounds are like $50 and my Femera is $10 for a 2 month supply (10 pills) and the trigger shot is $57 with a discount from First Step and I take progesterone which is the most expensive with insurance it is $75 copay (for 30 pills).

I had my 2nd IUI last Friday so I am almost through the TWW.. kinda? I am cautiously optimistic- I have no symptoms this month at all- but I've had "symptoms" every other month so maybe that is a good thing?

Margie- Congrats on your positive OPK did they give you a trigger shot (my husband does mine at home on the day I have a positive OPK and then I have the IUI 2 days later- he gives it to me late at night on the day I get the positive then my appointment for the IUI is mid-morning- like 11ish) Fingers crossed for you!!!

While- I am sorry love- April is def. your month! :)

I'm an elementary teacher and start spring break on Thursday so I am looking forward to lunch with my girlfriends and catching up on Netflix at night! :)

I am going to be 30 too this year, in May and I always said I didn't want kids until I was 30- maybe God is honoring my prayers and not giving me one until I am 30?

I have been on fertility drugs (Femera and Progesterone) for 5 months now and I have gained weight- like 10-15 pounds- and I cannot seem to get it off- I work out and eat healthy- but it has just stuck with me.. anyone else have this problem?

Adamswife - I definitely gained some weight since I started fertility drugs. Probably around 5-10 lb.

Thanks for the support ladies.

Adamswife - no I'm not triggering. They just said to come in the day after I get my positive OPK. Luckily so far I haven't gained weight from the drugs. I've gotten a lot of other unpleasant side effects from them but I've avoided weight gain and crazy mood swings. Thank goodness.

@Adams-Excited for you! Are you going to test beforehand? About the weight gain...yep, isn't it so much fun! I too have gained about 10-12 pounds since my first IUI. I can't get it off either and its something i have just accepted it. Once IVF started, i was told no strenuous workouts so nothing was going to change. Just trying to accept the fact that its ok for now. I can have my body back after babies :)

@Margie - Finger's crossed for you!!!! Hoping for great news and a easy IUI!!!

@Basia- you must go back in tomorrow for your beta? I am SO freaking nervous for mine. I decided to not test beforehand. I just cannot handle it. I swear it will be a BFN. My clinic wants to see a beta over 100 so even I get a BFP, it might not be high enough for their standards so I guess I will just wait it out. How are you feeling? Still spotting?

AFM-The last two days I have been starving and eating everything in site. I am still hungry today so i am just praying that means something. I just really don't think I will test beforehand. I will plan to be home when we get the news on Thursday so that will be ok. If its negative i will see about taking a personal day on Friday or something. My back is pretty achy today like it is for AF. The thing about IVF is when the heck does AF come if it didn;t work?! I have no clue! I am 6dp5dt today. My regular LP is 16-17 days so in a normal cycle, I would not be testing until 14-15 dpo. Today i am 11dpo. I know that probably doesn't matter with my cycle right now though.
