@Adams, how many DPO are you? I know you said 10 days post trigger but that would only put you at 8/9 DPO so it is still wayyyyyyyyy early to be worried. Most people do not even implant until 9DPO.

I trigger around 36/48 hours before I ovulate... So my ovulation is always 2 days after my shot.

My trigger shot was after my IUI- I am going by what the doctor told me to do- so according to them I am 10-11 DPO today. It's fine- I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for all your comments and help. I am supposed to start on Friday so I am just going to wait until then. Thanks ladies!

AdamsWife - if this cycle does not work girl then talk to your Dr about doing trigger shot before IUI. Most clinics/Doctors agree to have trigger shot around 36 hours before IUI. Definitely keep us updated about your tests :) Do you know how strong was the trigger shot? What did you use?

Hi Adams wife,

hang in there. It could still be that you are testing out the trigger. The trigger can still show positive for about 10 days. Wait and test in a few more days. I really hope this is your month.

Texas - Great news. All systems go.

No Dr. available to do IUI. Haven't even heard from my Dr. yet. :(

I am seriously thinking about switching drs now following this experience, and considering that I will at maximum only have 1 or 2 further attempts.

Anyway, DH and I BD last night at about 36 hours post IUI, and I put my legs up in the air, and then inserted my moon cup to keep the little boys up there. Will BD later today about 50 hours post trigger (considering ovulation should be 36 - 48 hours after trigger and the egg is viable for 24 hours) and then tomorrow morning - hopefully there is a strong swimmer in there somewhere that gets lucky. Hopefully my egg quality is good this cycle..

Fingers crossed. Will have to wait and see. Quite a bit of cramping today, which I guess is due to Ovulation.

I switched from morning coffee (I had already switched from brewed to instant - not as strong) to tea now and will stick with the tea for at least 10 days or until I know the outcome of this cycle. I read that caffiene affects the motility of the fallopian tubes and can affect the movement of the fertilized embryo down to the uterus.

Good luck Super Sally! That's interesting what you said about caffeine. I cut down to 1 cup of coffe a day but thinking I should have not drank it at all!

Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, so it's not particularly implantation friendly. I don't drink caffeine at all anyway, but if I did, I'd avoid it as much as possible when trying to conceive, especially during the 2 week wait.

Crud I missed that. Does it just hinder implantation or could it cause it to implants in the tubes?

Texas - this makes me happy (sorry) but it means that you are finally being tested like you should have. They are probably trying to run lots of tests to make sure everything is looking good.
