@ttc- my heart is breaking for you. I am so so sorry. I wish I could hug you.

I am recovering from my retrieval this morning. Everything went perfectly and we got 28 eggs!!! I can't wait to hear how many fertilize. I'm sure that number will go down. Pretty sore and sleepy today.

LS - wow !! Hopefully you got a lot good ones :) will you find out tomorrow how many were mature and how many fertilized? Are you doing ICSI?
I have my transfer tomorrow. Hopefully they have two embryos ready for us.

LS - I had my retrieval on Sunday morning. On Monday early afternoon I got a phone call about how many fertilized. I was suppose to get a call on Wednesday morning to find out if we will have transfer that day or not but they told me on Monday right away that it will be on Friday. In my instructions I have written not to call them about quality that they don't really like to be checking those and messing up the process. So I waited patiently :)

You can't change anything. The only thing you can do is to get your body ready for transfer. You might not feel so hot tomorrow. My worst day was Monday - I got super bloated and was in pain. But it gets better every day. I think my ovaries are giving me a break finally. I'm still bloated but it is manageable :)

@TTC - there's a list of songs and things on our resources page that might offer a little bit of comfort. )-:

AFM, I am going in tomorrow and having my progesterone drawn.

Lshrader, your numbers are very good! Congratulations dear! I wish you the best for the rest of the process!
Basia, good luck! I know for the retrieval anesthesia is given, for the embryo transfer, what is the procedure?
Whileamwaiting, I tried to see the site but it is a blanc page. i will try from home too.

Kethryes - you just go in and you out in no time. It is similar to IUI. They just put the embryos in and that is it. They use ultrasound to guide it. No drugs involved.

LS - my clinic only does 3 or 5 day transfers. They believe on those days it is the best chance of the embryo to survive. They say that at day #4 the embryo is in the stage where they don't like to even touch it.
