Who wants to get Sept BFP's!! After trying for a few months.

Hi Everyone!

I am trying to muster up any confidence I have left at this point and feeling very discouraged do to our situation. In comparison to some ladies I know I am not as bad but still feeling down from last month and the prior 6 months total as well. Me and my husband have been trying since beg March this year and we are both healthy and young enough to start a family but no luck yet. I have connected with some ladies and it seems everyone of them has gotten a BFP on their first try or so and I would like to hear from those of you who are in my position where you are still trying and its just taking longer. I am looking for some support and stories about your journey so far and what you think of timing and any other methods you have been following. I'm interested to hear your thoughts now that we've all been at it for a while. What do you beleive in and what are you not going to try anymore?

For us, we tried for about 2 months the normal way just with me taking prenatals and not really understanding the timing of the O day and OPK's or anything like that. After that I researched about those things and figured out what timing was better than others and started using OPK's just to pin point my days, however, I have always been on a solid schedule of 26 day cycles and I know when AF comes each month so I'm not sure how much that has really helped me honestly. I also logged my BBT for a month and it felt more stressful than I think it should and it didn't help me really so I stopped that too. Now that we have passed the 6 month mark, I am scheduled to go to the fertility doctor and see what they can tell me or test for incase there is a bigger problem going on. I feel we have timed everything right for at least 3 or 4 months now and nothing ever changes. I even had my DH do a home test that came out positive for being at least at a normal sperm count.

So, what are your thoughts? What's your story? How long have you been TTC and what are going to do from this point on different?

I can't wait to hear from you! I need to know I'm not alone in this!

Hi SmashedPumpkin!!

Wow sounds like you have had quite a journey!! I have a 9 year old and am currently pregnant again after 10 years! We started this thread back several months ago and I still pop on here from time to time to check in with the great girls that were on this thread.

So did you say that you have an appointment with a fertility specialist coming up??

Maybe the spotting that you saw was implantation bleeding and not AF. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!

Tasha-I don't think that not having symptoms means anything.. especially that early. The only symptom I had didn't start until 9 DPO and it was just being incredibly tired after work! That really could happen anytime. LOL So here is some good luck coming your way and hoping that this is your month!!!!!

Hey Mrs Mullen!! 12DPO! you should know something any day!! Any symptoms??

I am doing fine- just feel like I am getting bigger everyday. We are having a girl.. Savannah Lee. Had the flu in January which sucked because you can't really take anything but other than that feeling pretty good.

I can't wait for you girls to get your BFP!!!!

8 DPO could be implantation bleeding... I didn't have it but I know lots of people that did.

Is implantation bleeding red though? I thought it was mostly brown?

I have read that it can be red or brown. Usually between 6-9 days after ovulation and only lasts for a day or two... :)

Hey there BGGirl!! I have been experiencing some symtoms in which I have never felt before like nipple sensitivity. The onre thing that concerns me at this point is that I have experiecing some mild cramping over the last few days. This weekend will tell it all as I should start AF by Sunday if that is what is going on.
Now, I did something weird yesterday per request of a friend of mine. I took a Clearblue Easy digital test, results were BFN, so I was told to crack it open and look at the strip. So,....I did just this and saw a verrrrry faint line. So, I did the exact same thing with my fu this am and it was a little bit darker. Now, a girl on another forum said to not trust blue dye tests?? Any other tests I have tried the last 24 hours have been coming negative anyway so maybe she is right?
Another thing, according to my own calculations, I thought that today was supposed to have been 10dpo for me, but my fertility dr says that I am 12dpo according to their schedule and what I am doing through them. So,...if I am truely just 10dpo, then it would be really too early to see anything I would imagine, but 12dpo??

If anyone wants to take a look at this mornings hpt, I have it posted. Please let me know what your opinion is on it as well as an opinion on blue dye tests i guess.

Hope all of you ladies are doing grrreat!
