No charting experience here. I admire your willpower Beaut1ful38, waiting to test. Anything different on your chart this month?!
How are your symptoms ItsAnna? Nothing to report on my side , although I wouldn’t expect any either way so early on. I just actually really feel like this isn’t our month... and I’m feeling strangely ok about it. Let’s see if that zen feeling sticks around! If we conceived this cycle, it would be within a week of when we conceived our angel baby last year which is such a crazy thought. What a year it has been! X

Pipsbr- it’s different this time bc I think it bc im taking Maca Root this cycle for the first time. I have tried everything EPO, baby aspirin, Eating pineapple core after ovulation to pre-seed. The first time I took EPO I conceived (Jan 2018) but ended in MC. I started taken maca July 7th bc after MC my cycles were wacky. So I need to get back on track. And Maca Root has helped as I ovulated on my usually day CD18! Unlike other months CD20-25.

DeeDee89- My cycle days are usually 32, but lately after MC have been 34-36, and ovulated CD20-25 when I use to be CD18, so when this month went back on track I was excited.- I not sure what Vitex is or does. I did my research on Maca: They have different Maca roots. Yellow, red, and black that I can find so far. I found one on amazon with all 3 combined in a capsule but you can do powder as well. Each does something different. My DH is taking it as well
Here you go! Remind you it’s a “food” that looks like radish or turnip.
Considered the most rare type of the Peruvian root, the malty tasting red maca provides the most antioxidants out of the three varieties. Studies have also shown it to be effective against prostate cancer and bone density loss. Both red and black maca have shown positive effect on bone structure, but the red variety was more beneficial. Research showed that red maca does not have a significant effect on the increase in the sperm volume in men, while yellow and black types have this effect. It’s been discovered that red maca is most beneficial when it comes to balancing hormones, and increasing strength and stamina. Out of the three varieties, the red type has the highest amount of amino acids, which are known as protein building blocks. Red maca is also used to relieve the symptoms of depression and reduce stress.
Also referred to as natural Viagra, black maca is a particularly potent variety when it comes to increasing sperm count and sperm mobility in men. For this reason, it can be beneficial for couples otherwise unable to conceive.
In comparison, yellow maca has shown a moderate effect on sperm count and sex drive, and red maca had no such effect. Including black maca into your diet can also help protect you from stress and fatigue, increase memory and leaning ability, and work as a natural anti-depressant. It can boost your mood, improve your sleep quality and strengthen your immune system, helping it fight cold and flu. The taste of this variety has been compared to that of roasted soya beans.
The yellow maca type has a tangy taste and the powder made from it has a light brown color. This variety comes with its own unique set of benefits, including the ability to increase fertility in women and relieve menopause symptoms, doing a great job at balancing hormones in a woman’s body. It is also known for its mood boosting ability in both men and women.
