Hi girls :) I am on my 7th round of clomid now. First 4 were 50mg last 3 100mg. I am on CD5 today. I take it CD2-6 and every cycle on it so far I have had hot flashes from CD4 but still haven't had any yet. I don't know whether to hope for them or not!

And sorry to those who are hoping clomid doesn't make you feel pregnant - it sure does!!! I was absolutely convinced I was pregnant for about three of my clomid cycles. I was utterly appalled when I wasn't! So try not to get hopes up too high before a positive test. Last cycle I made myself not think I was and that made it sooo much easier when my period came!

Here's hoping for success for us all this cycle :)

2 hours after I took my second dose of clomid this morning I threw up!
Ah! Do you guys think that was enough time to get the medicine into my system?

I'm not sure why I did though...I did have a job interview but I'm normally not that nervous about things.

Anyone else been feeling kind puke-y on clomid?

Thanks Stacey353!!!
The first month might be a little uncomfortable in the overay department but I was excited I know that I was finally able to drop eggs!

I felt nauseated the first month but nothing after that. If this is your first month, your body is probably getting use to it. Talk to your doc about it too.

7months! Wow! My doc will only let me do it 3 months!! I really don't want to see a specialist after this month so I'm really hope I get pregnant.
Good luck to you Shelob!!

Wishful12 the recommendations are to not do more than 12 months. My fertility specialist will only let me do 9 months and then I go onto the IVF waiting list. Fortunately that is fully funded for the first two cycles. After that is is very expensive. Of course I would like to be pregnant before then but it is not looking all that likely at the moment! Thanks for the good wishes!!

Bpdoyle I would also say talk to your doctor about that. I don't think that all of the dose would have gone into your bloodstream so they might want you to do another dose. But then again, as long as your other four doses stay down okay then that should have the desired effect. Sorry you are not feeling too good! Hope your job interview went well!!

hi ladies!!!!

stacey - yup first round this month, gonna start it today. I turn 30 next saturday!!! ahhh!!! ;)

bp - glad to see you here too :)

shelob - wow that is a long time, i think my doc is limiting me to 4-6 months

AFM, CD3 today. plan is to take 25mg of clomid daily starting today. my doc thinks a really low dose is all i need to give me the boost i need. my progesterone tested very low at 8DPO, was only 3.2. doc is hoping the clomid will help me ovulate better and thus make more progesterone myself.

Shelob if you dont mind me asking what country you live in? Here is Australia if you have private health insurance then the theatre/anesthetic costs are covered but the cost of the medications isnt which is around $3000. I think if you dont have private insurance then you have to cover everything yourself?

i keep reading that clomid can make your CM drier. now i'm only taking 25mg a day, but my CM i felt was barely adequate as is. many recommend taking mucinex to help. what are you ladies doing??

Bella83 I live in New Zealand. I must say I hadn't fully appreciated out health system until I started going on these forums and finding out how other countries do it. I don't even have health insurance.

Firsttimemommy30 I personally didn't have an issue with clomid affecting my cm. I was worried as mine is quite minimal too, but we use preseed if need be, but I don't seem to need it at all in my most fertile times.
