Hi my name is Sabrina and I just started following this forum. I am 37 and have been TTC for 4 months. My DH had a vasectomy reversal in early March and I'm hoping this will be our month! This is my fertile week and I am temping to pinpoint ovulation. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Well, I'm onto my next cycle as well. I hate that we keep going board to board! CD 3 for me now. Have our first appt w/a specialist on 7/7, so we'll see where we are going to start! I'm nervous and definitely afraid of the costs since insurance doesn't cover it here!!!

Hi Ladies,

I'm moving over from the Feb board today. I started spotting earlier and I expect a full AF in the next few hours. I'm taking a month off before doing IUI#3 as my O date will be during my vacation. FX that we'll get lucky this cycle and we won't need to even do #3.

I have some reading to do to catch up with whats going on on this board.

Sorry for absent on this board! I found out my 3 year old Boston Terrier needs surgery for a growth on his paw. So I've been trying to get all that squared away :(

I received my hCG trigger yesterday. I had three follicles with two being over 22mm and the last I believe was 18mm. Lining was at 10.5mm so they wanted to trigger me! I did my first round of femera but it didn't lead me to ovulate. Now I go in for blood July 1st to confirm but I'm really tempted to do an HPT beforehand.

Hi Ladies,

I am moving over to this board. Got AF last Thursday and have just been down in the dumps over the weekend. I got excited thinking it was it, since I followed the doctors orders and when AF didn't show up after the 2 days off of the progesterone I started it back up and went in for blood test. Showed no pregnancy at all but that I definitely O'd. So they are now referring me to an Advanced Fertility Specialist.

So for those of you who do not know me...you can check out my page and there is a list of everything I have gone through since I started this LONG disappointing journey of TTC.

I called yesterday and made appt with the Advanced Fertility Clinic. The earliest time they could get me in was next month July 15. A part of me is annoyed that they couldn't get me in sooner but I guess we will see what happens.

I read somewhere on their site that 38 is the last age that you can do IVF with your own eggs. Once you reach 39 it's not recommended. Now that might've been only due to a certain package deal they had. They have these deals like doing one IVF is so much money but you save if you sign up for 3 IVF's with an 80% money back guarantee...and maybe they don't do the money back deal when you reach 39 with your own eggs because there is no guarantee the eggs are viable.

A part of me is at a loss as to what to do. Not sure if we should try this month on our own or if we should just wait for the appt next month. Knowing that I am 38. Part of me thinks we should try because if we happen to get lucky then we can hope and pray it sticks. But if it doesn't stick and we lose another one then we have to wait possibly another month to get things started. Then again there's a good chance we wont be starting next month either because my appt isn't for a week after AF is due. So, I guess then we would know either way. I just hate not having appt's available right when you want them...lol.

I think we will try but not really try this month, if that makes sense...and watch this will be the month that it happens for us.

To also put a cramp in our "really trying" this month my husband just called and said he had to go to the hospital because he broke the tip of his right middle finger. And his right hand really hurts because of it. Good thing it's his hand and not something else but putting weight on it might be a challenge.

Over the past couple days in my spare time I have read up on this forum. I would like to welcome all the newbies to these forums and hope that you don't take as long as some of us has in this long journey to a THB.
In my replies if I forgot someone I am sorry.

Margie_M: I am so sorry you ended up coming over to this board too. Really sucks that we keep having to do this. Are you going somewhere for your vacation? Well, look on the bright side, You will at least be able to enjoy yourself and drink on your vacation. Maybe we will both get lucky this month and won't need the procedures next month.

nharty09: Looks like we will both be seeing a new specialist next month. Still wish we didn't have to wait so long to get in to see them. Yours is a week earlier than mine. I pray something good happens soon.

TTClate30's: Good luck to you this month. Hope this is it for you!

Camasia: Wow, you have been through a lot. Did they say anything about unblocking the right tube? Or mention IVF? My thoughts are with you.

Dcuddihy87: I am so sorry to hear about your dog. Hope the paw heals quickly.

Are you testing out the hcg shot? Meaning using HPT's to see if it's out of your system before you test for yourself? My first IUI, I did that and basically I used the internet cheapies I had. Then, after that I found out that it worked...I got lucky but then it sadly resulted in my first m/c. The 2nd IUI, I didn't test it out because I assumed the hcg would be out of my system by 11dpo and I tested and saw a faint BFP and then 2 days later it was negative...I don't think the hcg was out of my system by then. My recommendation is if you aren't planning on testing it out of your system then wait til AF is due or late before you test...otherwise you could be extremely disappointed. I know I was.

ladies hope we see lot's of BFP's this month!

So sorry you are over here with us Lolo. I have been wondering about you since I had not seen an update in a while. If I remember, you're in Green Bay Area? I go to Aurora Baycare and have an amazing fertility specialist. He's usually pretty easy to get into to. I hope you get your BFP and THB soon!

Hi ladies,

avbaby - Welcome! I hope you catch the egg.

Lolo - I'm so sorry you have to wait so long for an appointment. I know for my first appointment I had to wait like 2 months and then they wanted to change it on me like a week before. I really hope we both get lucky during our waiting cycles.

DH and I are going back to Canada to visit family for our vacation. We have a cottage on the east coast that we're going to stay at to enjoy the beach. I can't wait.
I've been eating chocolate like crazy and I kept having mini break downs yesterday. DH wasn't much help but in his mind it will happen eventually so why worry. I'm just so frustrated with my body.

Dcuddihy - I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I hope he gets better soon. your follicles sound great I really hope you caught the egg.

Camasia - I'm so sorry to hear about your tube being blocked. Do they know if they can fix it?

AFM - Chocolate is my friend. I'm looking forward to the two squares of really good chocolate at home. AF is determined to make my life difficult this week. The good news is that I don't have too much longer before vacation. I cannot wait.
