Hi Ladies,

Not much to report. Been filling out paperwork for this new doctors office and trying to get it in as soon as possible so there are no hiccups when I get in there.

DH's finger is fat and purple. Poor guy is in a lot of pain but thankfully he isn't one of those types that sits there and whines about it the whole time. Only when he bumps it do I hear some "words" come from him. I pray it starts to heal real soon.

I wanted to start BD'ing tonight for this cycle but I have a feeling that it won't happen until next week. DH just won't be in the mood...hard to get in the mood when you are in pain. Good thing my fertile week doesn't really start until next week.

Margie_M: I just googled Nova Scotia and WOW that looks beautiful too! So jealous! Someday I hope DH and I can make that trip.

Holly860: Aww, I am sorry AF arrived for you too! That sucks! I hope you are right and we both get lucky this month.

Camasia: I hope you find out what other options you have. I do wish IVF wasn't so expensive. I am lucky that DH's insurance covers most of it. Because I am pretty sure we wouldn't have been able to do it either unless we got a loan from the bank. The place I am going to has an 80% money back guarantee if you pay for 3 ivf's or something to that effect. But of course they have their restrictions. However they aren't as expensive as I thought they'd be...but still I know I couldn't do it without the insurance. I pray they have cheaper options for you.

Dcuddihy87: That's great that you found a doctor that listens. I hope you see that BFP on the 1st.

And WOW! Thanks for that website. I had no idea they had scholarships and grants available for infertility treatments.

TTClate30's: I am so glad that you love your RE. It's important to trust and feel comfortable with your doctors and RE. LOL! I think the billing is a mess at any hospital. I do find it annoying that some locations are much better than others. For example I used to live in IL and I found that Lake Forest Hospital was so much better than their other hospital in Gurnee. Sad but true. Anyways, here's to fresh plans and both of us getting our thb's!

Mistique: Aww thanks for all the And on picking a date to get married!!! That is wonderful news! Good luck to you! Are you eloping somewhere special like Vegas or a beach somewhere?

kelley828: Oooh girl! It is looking good!

Moloninge: Welcome and And yes you are correct about the torture. But in my book the whole process is torture...the last 27/28 cycles have been complete nightmares...but at least you can have a few drinks the first 2 weeks of each cycle. LOL!

tiainker750: and I agree I would love a Spring and into Summer baby! My step kids bday's are during the Winter and it is so hard coming up with things to do for their bday's.

Amanda_McDaniel: Don't count yourself out until AF sings. I know lots of women who had no idea and thought they weren't pregnant only to be shocked that they were.

mehteh: Sorry AF showed. Hopefully we see a March baby!

NicoMD: I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I pray you don't have long to wait till you see another BFP and you get your THB.

nharty09: I personally would still go see the specialist. They know what is OK for the baby and what isn't. I had a herniated bulging disc twice in my lower back and had in the same location 2 dehydrated herniated discs and was very close to surgery...I was at the last stage before surgery. I first went to an orthopedic dr and he was suggesting this epidural shot that I have had once before that didn't work and then possibly surgery. So I went to my chiropractor for a 2nd opinion and thankfully he said he could fix me without the surgery. I decided to stick with my chiropractor and I am so glad I did. Took a few months but it did work. I did have to quit my job after that though...it was the type of work I was doing that was continually making my back have problems. What type of work do you do? Was it a chiropractor you went to or an orthopedic spine dr?

Going to see the specialist doesn't really mean that you will start right away with procedures, like IUI. They may run some blood tests and have your DH do a SA. Which doesn't interfere with your back treatments unless certain pain meds interfere with results? You won't know until you see the specialist. Check out my page and you will see the list of procedures that my specialist did with us before going the IUI route.

and please keep us posted!

Hi Ladies,

Lolo - Nova scotia is beautiful. I'm really looking forward to getting back there soon even if the temperatures are only in the 70s.
I hope everything goes well for you at the new clinic. IVF is crazy expensive. I'm still holding out hope that I won't have to go that way.

nharty - I would totally keep the appointment with your specialist. I hope they come back with a solution for you that will allow you to continue TTC without having major complications.

NicoMD - Welcome! I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope this month you get your BFP.

mehteh - I'm sorry the got you. I hope you get your BFP this month.

tiainker - I agree a spring baby would be wonderful.

Amanda_McDaniel - I'm sorry you're feeling out. I felt that way last cycle. 8dpo is still really early though. FX that you get your BFP this month.

kelley - I hope those are good symptoms and you get your BFP soon.

Moloninge - Welcome! I know I really hate the TWW. I find I'm usually ok for the first week or until I stop and wonder what day I'm on and then it's all down hill.

Mistique - on setting a date for your wedding. thats very exciting!

Dcuddihy - Thanks for the website on grants. I'm not quite there yet but I like to have information to be prepared. Nothing about TTC has gone the way I thought it would.

TTC - I'm glad you love your RE. I'm starting to wonder about mine. They just seems so hands off compared to what I normally hear about.

AFM - My acupuncturist recommended that I go back and talk to my RE clinic about a little more monitoring during my IUI cycle as they don't do anything right now. I've officially missed the start time for doing an IUI this cycle so I have a month to try and talk to them. In the mean time I'm going to try a natural cycle and if nothing else, I get to drink while on vacation. I guess it's my consolation prize.

So today was day 1 with progesterone suppositories and I woke up to great surprise of a yeast infection. Anyone else experienced this? I've read that the 7 day Monistat is was a lot of OB's suggest. I've sent an email to my RE but haven't heard yet and I'm dying!!!

Is my face being oily a pregnancy sign? Its been super oily last few days. Been washing my face like crazy lately. Also broke out with a couple of pimples due to the oily skin.
Last couple of months when I had a breakout it was just before my lh surge.

So...any of you ladies who have had while tracking (I didn't track with DS... He was an angelic souvenir from my honeymoon), can you describe any cramping you had with implantation? Honestly, as you know, I was done and moving on but Wednesday night before bed and then off and on all day yesterday (9-10dpo) I cramped. It wasn't the popping/twinge I get around ovulation, it felt more like a watered down AF cramp. It didn't hurt to where I needed meds or a heating pad but it was definitely not to be confused with, say, gas pains or sore abs... I am on CD39 and would hope that AF shows up soon but that would make my luteal phase over a week shorter than usual, even though O came late. I'm sure it's just that stupid, hopeful little voice in the back of my mind trying to ruin my resignation to not being pregnant this cycle but I would like to know what implantation cramps feel like from someone who has experienced them. For future reference.

Dcuddihy - That stinks!! I hope your RE has gotten back to you by now and you can get it taken care of quickly!

Kelley - that it is! Certainly hormone changes can affect your face/complexion

Amanda - I wish I could share my experience, but I honestly don't remember having implantation cramps when I got pregnant last time. I did try to convince myself last cycle that my slight cramping could have been it when it was really just two days before my period. Good luck!

I'm on CD 16, and I don't think I've ovulated yet. Lack of CM, no ovulation cramps like I usually get. Nothing. ARGH! Staying hopeful. We've Bd'ed 4 times this week, because this is the CD's I ovulate in. I'm hoping I will by the end of the weekend…FX'd!

Amanda-I don remember any implantation cramps but when I was pregnant with my daughters it was 10 years ago and with the last 2 pregnancies they weren't viable. Good luck to you

Kelley- your chart still looks good! Kmfx for you!

Afm- testing tomorrow and praying I get a BFP and can give DH the best present ever!
