hi ladies, hope you had a great thanksgiving

cocoa - i am keeping my fingers crossed for your sister. it will be a good year, i hope both of you get BFPs. please let us know how she is getting along.

storm - sticky beans! praying hard for you.

i have been getting cramps for the last week or so. i thought it was O pain but its clearly not. no clue. its cd29. i usually have 45 day cycles so its highly likely i havent even O-ed yet.

Prima - It must be hard to plan DTD when your cycle is so long. Are you still tying to 'not try'?

Storm - Any update?

AFM - I'm on day 6 of my stimming drugs and so far it's been ok. I had a migraine for the first 4 days but thankfully that has now cleared. The bruising at my injection sites are worse this time and the drugs burn as they are injected but I'm not as swollen or uncomfortable as I was last time - Thankfully. I've got a scan on Friday to see how many eggs I have and what size they are and hopefully egg collection a week today.

My sister is waiting on her bloods back from the hospital but it looks like she is miscarrying again. My heart breaks for her...

Prima I know that's gotta be so confusing. I want to know as well. Are you still "not trying."

Cocoa my prayers are with you and your sister. And I hope you have a good amount of follies this cycle.

AFM I made it to 15dpo today and I see the tiniest red streaks in CM and my temp dropped. That witch will here in the next 24-48 at most. My doctor said she'll increase Clomid to 150mg next cycle. I really want to try again this cycle but I'll have to see what my donors schedule looks like with the holidays and all. I'm starting to feel so discouraged. And you know thats not me.

I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday ladies. I'll keep you posted.

STORM - Sorry to hear it didn't work for you. It's hard to keep taking the knocks but don't lose hope, after the HSG test you have a great chance of getting pregnent.

My sister had another chemical pregnancy. My heart is breaking for her it was so cruel how it played out as she started to bleed so assumed she was having a CP. However, the hospital wanted to check her beta's which kept coming back within the normal range. So for the last week her hopes were building every time she got the results of the beta's until yesterday when they dropped down and confirmed her suspicions of a CP.

AFM - I'm on day 9 of stimming and go for a scan tomorrow to see how my eggs are doing. I feel a bit uncomfortable but not as bad as last time so I don't expect to get as many eggs this time. I'm not too bothered about quantity of the eggs though as I got 12 last time and none of them worked. I would be happy to get only 1 this time if it worked!

So sorry to hear about your sister. Hopefully you'll have w good number of follies this cycle so you can freeze some same get your bfp.

Afm CD 3 another round of Clomid and another trip to NYC. I'm praying the HSG will work in my favor this cycle. I asked the OBGYN if it could've delayed my cycle and she said no. But my previous 5-6 cycles have 28-29 days and this cycle was 30ish. My books usually go positive CD 14-16 and this time I team or before CD 14 and never even got a faint line. So apparently it did have something to do with the delay. Im going to order a bunch of internet cheapies tonight. Wish me the best ladies I'll check back soon.

cocoa - i am really sorry to hear about your sister, my thoughts are with her. how is she doing? please let her know that we are thinking of her and she's not alone.

excited for your new cycle though, cocoa! i have heard that the injectables for ivf get pretty painful. i once read a blog and a lady compared it to her getting her ankle broken (in which she said she would rather break her ankle again....). are you handling them ok? you must have a high pain threshold. i am a wimp... its what makes me nervous about the ivf process too.
but i know its worth it. thats what keeps us going...

storm - as the doc said, 3 months, so here we go!! :) maybe upping the dosage will help. a trip will be good, take ur mind off things. NYE is just around the corner.. cant believe this year went by so quickly. 2017 will be our year!!!

i am now on cd3, the witch came again, eurgh. i have stopped using OPKs and bbt. so its just old fashioned bd whenever we feel like it. which hasnt been much... LO has started to sleep in our bed so that leaves not much energy/time/want to BD. i

my cycles are long (last one was 37 days), i should be getting my AF again mid jan. i think if the timing is right i will try another iui cycle then.

STORM - Enjoy your trip to NYC, I love it there at Christmas. Who knows, a little bit of holiday magic may bring your BFP :-)

PRIMA - haha I am a big drama queen and moan about every little twinge - my pain threshold is definitely very low. However, the stimming injections aren't too bad. They hurt a little going in and I found they burned a little afterwards (only this time, I was ok the last cycle). The main thing I hate about them though is the bloating and depressed feeling they bring. It only lasts a week or so and once you are finished you pretty much forget how horrible they are but for a short time I am a big mess. Egg collection is the REALLY sore part. I was in agony last night but it's slowly getting better and I can walk/hobble a bit today. I was adamant yesterday that I wasn't doing another IVF round if this doesn't work but already I am over it and thinking that I probably will.

AFM - Egg collection was yesterday and we got 8 eggs (4 less than last time). I am impatiently awaiting a call from the hospital to say how many eggs were mature/fertalised. I am so nervous, this is the point it all started to muck up last time.

So out of the 8 eggs collected, only 4 of them were mature enough to attempt IVF. However, of the 4 that were attempted 3 have now fertalised and I'm scheduled for a 5 day transfer on Saturday. I'm not sure why they want to do a 5 day transfer and not a 3 day transfer (I have my suspicions that I will get a call on Thursday to come in early). Fingers crossed the 3 embryos keep growing!

Eeeek - It's Thursday 11:10am and I still haven't heard from the hospital. They have until 12 to phone to go in early or let me know if anything was wrong when they checked on the embryos this morning.

I AM SO NERVOUS...

I am 1 dpo, hoping the method the doctor told us works, 3days before O and 1 day before O then day after ....
