Hi ladies,

How is the 2ww going for you both primadonna & kungfupanda? Any symptoms?

I'm on day 6 of my daily injections for IVF and starting to feel really sore and tired. I bled over the weekend so the hospital put me on 48 hours bed rest which was hard (I hate sitting still, especially at the weekend). It worked though as bleeding has stopped. I have a scan to see how many eggs are big enough to attempt to fertilise on Friday so fingers crossed for that. I'm just taking it step at a time because this seems to take forever. Even after all the drugs and discomfort it's still the 2ww I dread the most.

It's 6dpo today. Am going to try hold out till 11dpo before i poas.

Please share more of your ivf experience, I can see myself doing that down the road.

Also I keep forgetting to say, I have absolutely 0 symptoms. I'm ready to give up this cycle. Just trying to keep my chin up and stay afloat.

I would love only a 2ww :) Mine is turning to 4ww. It is very frustrating !

I really hope for you cocoa that the IVF will work out. then the discomfort and waiting will all be more than worth it !

and Prima, dont count yourself out just yet. technically what doctors would say is it is impossible anyway to have any real pregnancy symptoms before implantation has happened and if you are just 6dpo today than you might not even be there yet.

I think I am 7-8dpo today. I havent had any symptoms.. I have been somewhat sick or something last week but I wouldnt relate it with any sort of pregnancy symptoms.

However today Ive felt twinges and some pain left side of uterus. Then with sudden dizzy spells while bedtime reading for my son this evening. Yesterday i felt like I was out, surely. Now I am just slightly confused. I took a test yesterday and of course a BFN! Couldnt help it, i am a POAS addict.

The most odd thing happening this last 24hr though: (almost not for sensitive)
I had some crazy CRAZY disturbing dream last night, actually scary. But I had a baby in the dream.. but the head and the body were seperated (both alive though) and I was having problems because it felt wrong to breastfeed my baby(?) in public since it could just scare people to see a baby in two pieces, and I worried I couldnt bond with my baby when I would always have to be hiding its head in my purse...
Then my feet were ridiculously swollen and a famous person from my country committed suicide and left a suicide note.
NEVER have I EVER felt more relieved to wake up... to find my perfect son next to me and my feet in a fine state.

Maybe I should get my mental health checked before continuing on my TTC journey........

I must be going insane or something. No normal person dreams such terrible things.....

Okay ladies I've enjoyed summer but I'm back in full force. First positive opk Saturday evening on cd13. Did insemination on that evening of cd 13, the morning of cd 15 and again just this evening cd 16 while opk was still reading positive. I can imagine by cd 17 or 18 it will show negative. I have been charting since cd15, that part is new. And instead of mailed sperm my donor is in town providing fresh sperm that's being inseminated with a softcup held in place for 8-12 hours. I've been taking prenatals twice a day, baby aspirin, and just eating healthy.

So far my only symptoms seem to ovulation related EXCEPT today I've been having this weird butterfly feeling in the pit of my stomach. It doesn't hurt, I don't feel nauseous but I definitely notice it because it's been there since earlier this evening. So we'll see what happens right.

Prima and Kung-fu I was really hoping you guys wouldn't be here still but I have to admit it's a little comforting having some familiar women.

Velcome back... Sounds weird to say that on a venue where you wish people dont come back, yet at least :)

Summer holidays sound good too hehe, and honestly the butterflies also sound lovely:) . Those were the only thing i experienced that was very different when i had the CP so i stay poasitive with you this cycle.

Im just coming from the loo throwing away Another bfn..

It feels like it has been forever trying.. Stopped bc and preventing in jan. but honestly i have only had 5 chances since then. Some disturbed hormones i Think since bc and the cp in april disturbed my cycle so ibdidnt have any AF forntwo months.

Thanks Kung-fu. It does seem like a while but it's worth it. Hopefully this is your month and we have May baby's.

Prima just hang in there a few more days. Maybe we'll all have May baby's.

Ladies I'm not sure which day to count as my O day. My first positive opk was on the evening of cd 14. FF was saying my O day was cd 15. Today is cd 17 so really not sure how many dpo I am. 2dpo or 3 dpo? I'm going to try my hardest to wait until August 31 to test. AF due Sept 7.

Primadonna - It's still early so fingers (and toes crossed) that this is your month. As for the IVF I've not found it too bad at all yet. Life is a bit slower which is the hardest part as you are constantly waiting on another injection, blood test, scan or appointment (life is pretty much on hold). However, it doesn't last long as this cycle is only 6 weeks and DH has saw a different side of the TTC process and is now very VERY supportive and understanding (I think it was all the needles that finally made him understand how important this was to me)

Kungfupanda - Your dream is mental, I love how crazy our subconscious gets when TTC. Have you had any other crazy dreams or symptoms?

Storm - Welcome back.

I'm now on day 8 of 10 of my daily injections and I had a major freak out yesterday morning because I thought I should be feeling more uncomfortable. When my sister got to day 7 of her daily injections she could barely walk but yesterday I didn't feel as big and bloated and I felt so good I even managed to clean the house, take the dog for a walk and go to work (i.e. very much able to walk). I started to think the drugs must not be working and that my cycle could be cancelled when I go for my scan on Friday. However, last night I grew more and more uncomfortable - I've never been so happy to be in pain. Hopefully this discomfort means I am responding to the drugs and all will be ok at the scan.

Coco- I hope you stay uncomfortable a little longer if that means your IVF is working ;) it feels a bit strange to wish that to one though :) Please keep up updated, are you done with your injections after day 10?

Prima: How are you hangin on? Have you POAS yet?
I am not very positive either honestly. I am almost sure that I am out this cycle. the test I took last time was BFN, I think it was yesterday morning and I dont feel like I have any actual symptoms. I have some progesterone related symptoms but that could just as well be because AF will arrive soon.

Storm: When will you POAS? :) your butterflies sound promising to me.

My symptoms this cycle are: Terrible dreams, today I look like Im 6 months pregnant(not a lie), im so bloated. gas and all that mess, dizzyness. I am convinced though that those are all pms :(
so, no more soy isoflavones for me.
