Cocoa I'm so happy to hear you so determined yet laxed about this cycle. You go girl!

Well the wicked witch got me on Monday. It was a day early. I'm having an hsg on Tuesday the 8th and I'll be on Clomid starting today. I'm going to try to exercise more and hope this cycle blesses me because I'm getting frustrated and with the holidays coming I want to relax.

Aw Storm that sucks, I was so hopeful for you this cycle. The exercise increase has been really good for me as I feel stronger and much more energy. Let's hope my eggs agree

Okay. I'm feeling like I have some answers. I had the HSG today. That experience was so uncomfortable. There was slight pain but not unbearable. Initially the dye didn't go through. The radiologist asked the OBGYN to reposition the catheter and try again. Then the second push of dye went through. The radiologist said my tubes were blocked by thick fluid like mucous but the HSG flushed it out. My OBGYN said that I should get pregnant within 3 months. I'm really hopeful and relieved to know that I'm taking the right steps to get pregnant. Donor will be here this weekend as I'm due to ovulate around Monday. I'll kept you ladies posted.

Storm - that sounds promising. I had the HSG test and it was uncomfortable but I've heard great things about it 'cleaning you out' and then getting pregnant.

I started IVF cycle 2 last week. I'm so relaxed about this cycle that I keep forgetting I've started. It's also really cold here just now so I think that's helping with the hot flushes this time.

My sister is in the 2WW for her 3rd IVF cycle and its looking really good at the moment. She had 2 blasts transferred on Saturday which weren't the best quality and the embryologist didn't think they would have any to freeze. However, she got a call on Sunday to say that 4 embryos took on a growth spurt on Sunday and would now be frozen. So I'm optimistic of what the 2 embryos did in her womb yesterday if the ones in the lab did so well.

DH has agreed to do 1 more round of IVF if this doesn't work as his 'research' concluded that 3 rounds of IVF was the optimum number of cycles to determine whether it would ever work for you. I really hope we don't need another round though...

Storm - glad everything is unblocked now. 3 months is great news! That's super soon. All the best this cycle with your donor.

Cocoa - happy to know the renovation is going well! I still remember when u were asking about whether u shld go ahead with it at all. Time flies huh.
My hubs and I said the same abt iui, to try 3 cycles. I am keeping everything crossed for you.

Afm I'm still not trying. It's given me a lot of time to think about things. I'm not a religious person but I'm starting to wonder if the man up there doesn't want to give me another kid... Like ever. Maybe I just need to accept that I will only have one son.

Prima - This is something I've been struggling with since the failed IVF cycle. I have been trying to get my head around the fact that we may never have children. At first I was so angry as I see so many people having multiple children at the drop of a hat. Then I looked at my life and realised I was very happy with what I have at the moment so it wouldn't be a disaster if we don't have children but I'm not ready to accept this quite yet...

AFM - It's hard to forget about the IVF now. AF is here and she is giving me hell. I'm pleased though as it hopefully means my lining is shedding a lot and will be nice and thin for starting my daily injections next week.

cocoa - yeah its been really an existential battle in my head, sometimes i wonder if im going insane. i read stories about people not knowing theyre pregnant, people addicted to all sorts of substances and carrying a child to full term, people leaving their kids in the trash, getting pregnant accidentally etc etc etc etc..... i am NOT judging and neither am i saying they dont deserve a baby. i just feel like if those people can defy all odds and be blessed with a child, why cant i?

i really am not trying but i am still keeping track of my cycle. havent BD-ed much at all. maybe a grand total of 5 times this cycle only.

cd26 and getting cramps today.. bad news i guess.

keep us updated re your ivf cocoa.

hope storm is doing great!

Prima - You've put it so well. I don't grudge anyone getting pregnant either but it seems babies happen to other people against all odds and yet I can't manage to make one and I'm trying everything!

My sister has just gotten her BFP on her 3rd IVF attempt but has started bleeding this morning. I've been googling and its not over apparently until she either also gets cramps or the blood turns red/pink. I am so hopeful this isn't anything to worry about. She has had so much heartache with TTC and I feel like surely one of us must be due to get pregnant this year.

Storm - Hope you are doing well?

A xx

Hi ladies. Cocoa I completely understand where you're coming from. Hope all works out for you and your sister. Prima this is a good time to just focus on the holidays I guess.

Afm.... I'm on 10dpo. Chart still triphasic and no cramps. I have a 28-29 day cycle and I'm on CD 24 but bfn this morning. I'm really hopeful after that HSG. I'll keep you posted. Enjoy Thanksgiving
