Shelob, your words are so nice! Thanks!!!! Finally, AF came in the morning of DPO 15. This cycle really deluded me! During the long TTC I had before my pregnancy and MC, I POAS only once or twice, but on this cycle, I was so impatient that I POAS three times! Now I promise to myself not to do it before DPO 15.

I am happy that you are going well! When are you going to tell your family that you are pregnant? it is nice to share your good news!!!!

For the moment, my best wishes for you and for all the girls here!

Aw I am sorry AF came :( I was really hoping for you this cycle! I definitely prefer the wait-and-see testing option as I find it less stressful (cheaper too).

We are planning to tell parents and two close siblings after our midwife appointment in a week and a bit. I will be 9 1/2 weeks pregnant then. That is assuming all goes well. I don't know what to expect at that appointment actually. It will be the first time I have seen a midwife (didn't get that far last pregnancy). Then we want to wait until after our 12 week scan to tell our other friends and family, then much later for telling the world (I know people who have miscarried a week after a great 12 week scan). I am very much looking forward to telling people, but also very pleased we have waited! Makes it even more exciting as I will be so much closer to the end then!

How are you feeling? I hope you are taking some relaxation time and recouping energy for the coming weeks!

Thanx Shelob. yes I am trying to relax and forget about it. Sometimes, I just wonder how my belly would be if I hadnt MC. Others I am more optimistic and I find my self "lucky" that I can have a Martini, or go to the gym. just to fool myself!

as about when to inform the others, your plan sounds good. For me is different as I have a very demanding mother who wants all the attention and she gets it with nag. At least when I was pregnant I was not bothered.
Good luck with the scanning!!!! I wish you the best results!!!

Hi ladies, I am new to this forum and my story is kinda long but here is the jist...

Just started 3rd round of Clomid 50mg CD 3-7 and I am looking for some support and success stories! DH and I have been TTC our first for 23months s/p LEEP in 2011. I am 27 and he is 32. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism 6mos into the process and I am now on 100mcg/day and my TSH is FINALLY normal and has been for about 7months. The hope was I would get pregnant once my TSH was <2, but unfortunately that has not been the case. We are so excited for this journey but it is so hard to stay positive. We have one more prescription of clomid, if no baby, we are going to be headed to the RE. I regularly ovulate and use the CBFM. I am trying preeseed and mucinex along with the clomid this month as my cervical mucous leaves much to be desired. (Sorry TMI) And to add to the pot I work night shift as an ICU nurse so my sleep cycle is ALL OVER THE PLACE! I love hearing all the success stories and that I am not the only one going through this mess! Baby dust to all!!

Sarahfjrn, good luck with your journey! It is good that you fell excited for this!!!
Dont be stressed, you are young and you have all the time to TTC and at the same time to enjoy the process!
My story with the clomid is that I had it for a couple of months, but without success. The BFP came in a cycle without clomid. The most important for both of you is to stay calm.
Good luck for this month!!!!

Sarahfjrn my husband and I were also trying for a while, over two years. We did 7 rounds of clomid but then stopped when we discovered my husband's sperms had deteriorated considerably. Despite that we ended up getting pregnant two cycles after stopping clomid!! That does seem to happen a bit! It is crazy as we were on the waiting list to start IVF in November! You are starting younger than us so that is great! As kethryes says, more time to enjoy the process. I was fast approaching the magical 35 and getting a bit worried for us! (That was an understatement). I do think the trying-to-relax thing has some merit. Almost impossible I know. But in my mind I knew we couldn't get pregnant, yet we gave it our best shot. I wasn't worried about whether or not we succeeded because I "knew" we couldn't, and yet we did! Crazy. Still haven't told anyone yet (except on here!) We are 9 weeks 1 day today. There is hope!!! :)

Thank you so much for all the encouragement. And congrats shelob on your pregnancy!!!! Relaxing is something I desperately want to accomplish but like you said it is easier said than done. ð??© I love hearing success stories and I have thought about taking a break ttc but I know me and even though I won't be trying, I would still be trying lol I look forward to more sucess stories! ð???ð???

Welcome Sarahfjrm! My husband and I are both 30 and have been trying for a little over 1yr 1/2 I was on clomid last summer for 3 months. I did ovulate the first 2 months but no BFP. The last month I didn't ovulate and my ob sent me to an RE where I found out I had a hydrosalpinx in my right tube. Basically my tube was filled with fluid and needed to be removed because they told me that was the reason I hadn't gotten pregnant. At the time I didn't have insurance so I had to wait until I got that worked out. I had surgery in March and when I woke up they told me there was no longer anything wrong with my tube! I guess it healed on it's own even though I had been told that was highly unlikely. I started letrozole last month so I'm into the 2nd month of that. The Dr.'s have not been able to find anything wrong with either us now. They did put me on thyroid meds too since mine was slightly elevated. We have tried everything I feel like and still no bfp. The only thing I haven't tried is the preseed so I think I will try that next month if I don't get a bfp this month. My mother in law sent me a Zuni fertility frog for our 3rd year anniversary last week. Supposedly the man that makes them says he is 38 out of 40 for pregnancies. LOL I guess we will see.

Tomorrow I am going to the RE for the first time and I am excited and nervous. The desire of my heart is that we will go to this appt and then end up with a BFP without needing anything. I always hear those stories and would love to be one of the couples who get to tell it. Fingers crossed.

Sarahfjrn I have two of those stories! The first time we had just been referred to a specialist and were awaiting a letter with our appointment time and date, and I got pregnant. Unfortunately I miscarried at 10 1/2 weeks so I still made it to the appointment (a few days after the miscarriage). Then a year later, we had confirmation that we were on the waiting list for IVF and scheduled to do that in October/November and had just stopped clomid then two cycles later we got pregnant again!!! Now I am 10 weeks pregnant and things are looking good so far!! We haven't fully cancelled out IVF just in case, though they know we probably won't need it! I know two other couples who had been trying for years with similar stories. Amazing how often it happens! One was due to start injections for IVF the following cycle!
