Only 4 DPO for me today. This week is really busy so I'm hoping it'll go quickly! I am actually going to be filmed for HGTV's House Hunters on Friday! My brother and his wife bought a house and I'm going to be the "hunting partner" for one of the houses. I feel like I'm going to sound like an idiot once the episode airs!

Today I picked up: tampons, new ovulation predictor kit, clomid (upped to 100mg) and progesterone.

3 times is a charm, right?

My doc now says I can do clomid up to 6 total cycles, but offered to refer me to a specialist at any time.

I think we're going to do the IUI this time. Must we not have sex leading up to the procedure? Waiting to hear back from my doc about details.

If this cycle on clomid doesn't work with the IUI, I will go to a new doc (specialist) before taking more.

ssurra, they usually want between 2-5 days abstinence before the IUI to build up the boys. I would ask for ultrasound monitoring with the IUI to make sure your follicles are developing and releasing with good timing to the IUI.

lisserb - Funny they just told me, "when the ovulation predictor says positive, just come into the office."

I had to confess I'm really lucky. My husband's insurance covers fertility "100%."

If you get good, consistent positives with your opks, then the iui timing would be 24 hours after your first positive.

For me, using opk timing was always off from when I actually ovulated. I'm a big advocate for monitoring. Hopefully it works for you!

I just found out that my brother's wife is pregnant. She went of the pill last month. I am really happy for them, but I just started crying when I found out. I feel like such an idiot.

JBergsma don't feel like an idiot. It's always really hard to hear of other people getting pregnant so easily, and I think especially so with family members. It's just not fair! Don't beat yourself up for how you feel. It's totally normal *hugs*

Hi ladies hope you dont mind be joining in i've just finished my 1st cycle of clomid, i was put straight onto 100mg? Has anyone else been put on this dose to begin with? infact today is day 5 after last pill so am keeping the OH busy lol
I've been trying to concieve for 2yrs, we did get pregnant last Nov but i MC in Jan so it was back to square one! My Dr finally put me on clomid and metformin and told me i'm basically too old n fat to have successful pregnancy, i've just turned 39 have no children but have had 3 unsuccessful pregnancies and my BMI is 29, i'm determined to prove my Dr wrong! ;0) hoping this works for me!

Finally got my +OPK this morning. After seeing the blinking smiley at the clearblue digi for 4 days, i was getting nervous. Alright, CD 19, 19th Cycle TCC. BD today and tomorrow for good measure. Let's do this baby!!!!!
