Positive OPK and "O" at the same time

So I was sitting on the couch and started getting some strong stabbing pains through my pelvic area then it moved to ovulation pains in my right ovary area.So I was curious and took an OPK,wasnt my FMU, and it is positive.I checked my calendars and ovulation is possible for tomorrow,but my question is,why am I getting strong pains and a positive OPK at the same time?I had EWCM yesterday and of course did the BD and will tonight and tomorrow, but confused about the timing and pains...I will take another OPK later today to see what it says.Thank you and baby dust to you all!!????????????
