It varies person to person. It could be a short as 12 hours or as long as 72 hours after first positive. Me personally it is 48 ish houts after my first positive. I only know because i temp and have for quite some time now. If you want to have a boy, bd a lot fromwhen your opks get pretty close to positive until the day after ovulation.

Thank you also what is the best time of day to take the OPK? I hear some same first morning and other say wait till later in the morning.

I usually do around 10am and 6pm and when im close i add in another in between somewhere. I dont ever do fmu for opk or hpt. I know people think you have to because its more concentrated but really its not. Do smu with little to drink. That has always worked better for me.
