Need encouragement...fertility problems :(
Ok so here is a run down of what is going on 10 years ago my husband and I were pregnant and I miscarried. I was taking birth control at the time, so I stopped and decided if it was meant to be it would be. 9 years later with no pregnancy's and no protection I ended up pregnant again, and miscarried. We have tried for almost a year now and nothing so my doctor sent us to a fertility specialist. Everything came back completely normal except for a test that shows my blood may clot more than others which makes me 80% likely to miscarry every pregnancy. I have to retest in two weeks to confirm but if I do have this I have to start aspirin therapy and if I am able to get pregnant I have to do Lovenox injections daily. If I do not have this disorder we are going to do an IUI in Jan. My question is has anyone had this disorder and gotten pregnant? My next question is has anyone had success with IUI and how many did it take. I'm really discouraged just need some encouragement :(

memberWhile I can't relate to your specific issues and have yet to get pregnant after 15 months, just take relief in knowing you are working on a solution and it will work out. I have yet to see a doctor, my appt is later this month and terrified something is wrong with me or my husband. Anyway, it's good they caught the part about your blood clotting as that can be a serious risk for many things, especially pregnancy. I bet it will work out and you'll be able to get pregnant! Good luck and baby dust!

I'm still on a waitlist to see a obgyn but I know my blood is "sticky" from a blood test done years ago. I have had 2 cp and 1 mc since ttc 2 years ago and have recently started daily aspirin therapy until I can see someone.
