Hey, ladies,

To catch up...

Kethreys, I never heard of a blood test for endo either but that would be fantastic! And, I do totally believe a huge part of fertility issues is stress. The month we did get pregnant I wasn't trying for about 3 months because we were going to a wedding. Funny how things work out.

Essem, sorry about the CP. Just sucks!

Basia, yay to AF coming and getting things going.

Welcome to all the new peeps.

Where's TexasGirl??

AFM, I'm CD18 and we tried naturally this last time. Working on financing for IVF and as soon as AF comes, we'll get this IVF ball rolling!

Red, i wish you to have a natural conceive this cycle! As about the blood test, it is the ca 125 and its levels will just give us an indication. We still wont be sure.
As about stress, i believe it is a factor, but not the only one. The only time i coceived it was when i was waiting at the work to be merged and so we had nothing to do. I was going late and we were just have chatting with my coleagues! And then it was xmas, so we had also the celebrations that might helped our psychology too! But also, it was the month after the hsg... Heard that also helps!
I also wanted to ask about texas. She might wants a break.
Bg, welcome! Hoping the for you!

Hi again! Hopefully everyone is doing well?
Yes this IUI is medicated. I had Clomid for ovulation, then as my follicle grew quicker than my lining they put me on oestrogen twice a day to catch it up. Now post IUI I am on the progesterone suppositories again.

So I'm trying not to test too early. Today is day 10 post IUI which is when I started testing from last round. Last round I had loads of symptoms which turned out to be from the Progesterone. Most notably very sensitive breasts and uterine cramping from 4dpo to about 9dpo. This time I've noticed much less of anything.
Today however I woke up nauseous and kept feeling like my stomach turned every time time I had a sip of my tea or water. It was ages before I could face food. I did however have a heavy dinner quite late last night so I'm not jumping to any conclusions just yet.
I'll hold out another day or two before I test.
Good luck everyone x

Cate, while, kethyres - thanks so much for your support.
Bg - welcome

Kethyres - sorry to hear your AF arrived... I truly know how you feel...

Today is 13 DPO for me... Tested in the morning and a big fat NEGATIVE... Almost screaming in my face... AF like cramps last night... I'm pretty sure AF is coming... I quite frankly want it to come now... Coz I'm completely drained emotionally and physically... I want to get back to my life!
I'm SO frustrated and definitely NOT going to the same doctor again... She can sugar coat things for all her patients but I'm not going to be one of them. I'm super angry at her.
I'm supposed to go for my beta tomorrow if AF doesn't come today... What a joke... How can a blood test change a BFN I saw today to a BFP... It'll be a waste of a trip (time and money)... So I'm really hoping now that I get AF today.

Ladies, sorry for sounding so negative... You probably can understand and relate to the frustration... Because I know no one else will... Not even my mother... She's the best person on this planet but she never went through what I'm gong through... So it's impossible for anyone else to feel this way.

I'll post my blood test results here or lack thereof.

Mumtobee

So sorry to hear your disappointing news. It's so frustrating this whole process isn't it. Every time AF shows it's another opportunity so I'm hoping that it comes soon for you as well.
I know a lot of people curse AF and call it the witch but for me every time I see it I think what a blessing it is because at times she has gone missing for months (PCOS) and I find that the hardest of all to deal with.

Essemkay, I'm sorry for your chemical pregnancy. I didn't even know what that was until recently, that must be hard to deal with.

I'm day 11 post IUI today. Still not tested. No nausea as of yet today so maybe yesterday was a fluke. In the back of my head I'm already planning whether I can go straight into another cycle.
I'm in the UK in England. From the sounds of it some of you are in The U.S.?

KeepingPositive - thank you for your support... I've PCOS as well... And I know what you mean about the AF... I really do wish AF comes soon...

Yeah I'm in the US... I went through the FSH AND IUI cycle and my insurance didn't cover it here... Not all of those cover it here... Sigh... We keep blowing money in this thinking it'll all be worth it one day... And perhaps it will be... But it's frustrating to keep waiting...

Did you do a medicated cycle? And if medicated, was it with FSH? If yes, was it a first try...? All those answers will matter to know if you can go for the next cycle or not... If you did FSH... Then on an average doctor's recommend 3 tries... Which could be one after the other... With clomid I did 4 tries in succession... And this is my fist FSH... I tried with femara also but that was just once... So your doctor can tell you for sure as every case is different.

All the best to you and I truly hope that you don't have to go onto the next cycle.
