Thank you! I'm not sure what to think to be honest although today's test has a stronger line in real life than in the photo. I'll test again to be sure. We're away so I can't get to the Doctor until Monday! I've called the clinic though and they're going to fax my prescription to a local pharmacy. I was so sure I was out this month after negative FRER on 12dpiui.
We went on a boat trip the day after that and I was so sea sick! It all makes sense!

Momtobee - I agree with everyone else. It is still a loss so please do take some time for yourself.

@momtobee - I'm so sorry for your loss. As some people say, loss is a loss is a loss - no matter how far along you were! Hugs to you. )-: Are you doing okay?

@KeepingPositive - Looks like a definite positive to me! Glad it is getting darker. I wish you didn't have to wait until Monday to go in! Congrats, lady!

@Basia - IVF sounds exciting! So you had one embryo left from last cycle, right? Are you using that one?

AFM - I had my IUI this morning. DH's count was 21 million. My RE said basically that he was focusing on the 15 and 16 follicle and not so much the 24 since it shot up so quickly and the other two were "following the rules." So anyway, we shall see. Today might have been our last IUI (this is our third). I'm a little emotional, and not feeling very optimistic about this one working. I feel like potentially the 24 egg was too big and the 15 and 16 were too small. )-:

Mumtobee: If you are still checking in. I'm still thinking of you and hope that today was an easier day maybe. If not then maybe tomorrow will be.

WhileImWaiting:
So much potential for success there! Don't be disheartened! You triggered yesterday and had IUI today? So ovulation might not have happened yet it could happen anytime up until tomorrow and I'm sure some of those 21 million (!) swimmers could be still knocking about anything up to 3 days from now. You don't know when the two vital components might meet. The 24 one could have been perfectly ready and the other two have time too. Fingers crossed that this is the one!

Red, Margie, babyangel, Lschrader , while, keeping positive - thank YOU!

You ladies have given me so much strength... Believe me, it is hard to explain in words... We are still kinds of strangers to each other, but I feel so close to all of you...

And thanks only to YOU, my husband, mom, and mom-in law - that cim feeling much stronger mentally... Little weeak physically due to the heavy bleeding that started today.
Thank you so much for thinking of me.

KeepingPositive - CONGRATULATIONS! ... I wish you all the. Rey best... Keep sharing your symptoms and progress.

While - I feel for you... I know how frustrating it can be to go through the IUI... And for the third time.., here's what my doctor said "fertilization is a complex process and some times the chemistry does not go well and leads to chromosomal deficiencies which is eventually rejected by the body" that was my reason of failure... And so it has nothing to do with egg quality, sperm quality... It's just God's decision. Keep faith... Because 15-16 is considered a good size (as per my doc).

AFM, here's my plan - taking off from trying for at least couple of months... Going on a vacation... Will think about whether we want to do another IUI, IVF, or just natural trying... Definitely changing doctor... Not because she couldn't get me pregnant... But mainly because she's too too far away from where I stay.

I will keep reading this board and hope and wish for everyone's success.

Momtobe--you're so strong! I think your plan is a good one to focus on yourself and other things before tying again. I needed to do that back in August and when I was ready again I was so much more 'emotionally ready'...it really wears your down. Best wishes for the next little while...

While--my RE said that a 16 was considered mature and a 15 was acceptable. I still think there could be a chance that the 24 is ok too. Try and stay positive--there's also a chance it may grow a bit before its fertilized. I had a 16mm and we went through with it still, but it was my DH sperm count that wasn't favourable at 1.5. Thinking of you during this 2ww!

I had my appt yesterday and then went to the ivf information night. Going to try one more IUI (medicated) with FSH. He's starting me off on a higher dose to hopefully get more than one follicle. After this cycle we're moving onto ivf. We feel ok with this decision, but were hoping for funding. The Ontario government talked of funding one cycle for couples but it looks like it'll be in the form of a tax credit?!? Anyways, we'll just have to save and then go for it. Ok--crazy question (not that I'm considering this), but have any of you looked into IVF in Mexico? I know someone that did it recently.

Momtobee, so sorry for your loss!I know how you feel! I lost mine at 10weeks and still sometimes I cry remembering how cute it was at the ultrasound. It was my baby. My only baby I ever had.
keeping positive, i can see the positive! I am so happy for you dear! Wishing you to get darker and have a wonderful pregnancy!
While, dont think so much about the follicle sizes. Just relax and think that soon you will be pregnant! Let the doctors worry about the sizes!
AFM, I have started doing the tests i was asked for, but because there will take some time to have the results, I guess I may miss the chance to have the IVF this summer. The clinic closes for August. So I guess I will have in September. In the meantime I worry about the tests results.

Good morning ladies,

kethryes - I hope that the tests get done quickly and that you can get the IVF done sooner rather than later.

CateMat - Which part of ontario are you from? I used to live there and DH and I will likely be moving back in a few more years. I hadn't heard of a tax credit, but I hope there's something the government will do to help with the cost of it.

Momtobeeeee - That sounds like a lovely plan. I hope yourvacation is relaxing and that you are able to come back to TTC refreshed and hopeful.

While - your DH's count sounds really good and I really hope that you get your BFP from this. it's entirely possible that the follicles were a good enough size. I'm keeping my FXFU.

AFM - AF started for me. YAY! I've never been so excited for something so uncomfortable in my life. I'm hoping this cycle gives me a sticky bean. Now I really want to go home take some advil and get a hot pack.
