Hi again ladies!! I wanted to see if anyone out there can relate to my situation and if so, how they are doing and or anything i should or should not expect. I am 34 ttc #1. We have been ttc for 1 year now and started seeing a RE back in Oct due to my upcoming 35 bday. 1st appt with RE, they took lab specimens and determined that my ovarian researve was acting older than it actually is and that we should begin treatments. We wanted ro wait until after the holidays and my recent NCLEX exam to reduce stress. I had my baseline US on day 2 of this cycle, started on 50mg of Clomid days 5-9, then i had my 2nd US on day 11 whuch determined that i had 2 17mm and 2 19mm follucles on my right side. I took my Ovedril shot at 9am thus morning and have scheduled BDing the next 4 nights starting tomorrow.

Hi all! So I'm on cd 4 and I'm almost done bleeding!! So weird. I think clomid has rly thinned out my lining:( I'm glad we're taking this month off. Anyways will I ovulate sooner bc my cycle was shorter? Or should it still be normal?

Darian, clomid seemed to make my period slightly lighter, but didn't really move my ovulation date. I'd use opk's or temp though.

Mrs Mullen, I usually trigger on 20mm or larger follicles, though generally anything over 16 is considered mature. Hopefully you have a few release and this cycle is it for you!

AFM, I'm 14dpiui today and waiting on AF. I should have it tomorrow. I tested with a frer with a very concentrated urine sample last night and it was completely negative, so I'm certain I'm out. I've spotted on and off since 6dpiui, which is very unusual for me. I have a feeling that it is caused from my super high progesterone level slowly dropping.

I'll keep you posted on CD1.

Hello ladies. I am new-to-post here, but have been hovering for awhile. My DH(27) and I have been married 9 years. We have two beautiful healthy little girls (8 yrs. And 2.5 yrs.) that were both concieved withinthe first cycle of trying. My husband deserves a son...not that he wouldn't love another girl, but wehave been TTC for 1.5 years now. I have suffered a 15 week missed miscarriage, 5 week miscarriage, and an 8 week miscarriage in the 1.5 years of trying. We have been to 4 drs and specialists...and nothing. I use OPKs, but do not temp any longer.

Today, I am CD 25 11 DPO (average 25 day cycle) with my very first round of Clomid, but my dr is not monitoring it. I definetely O'ed CD 13-14 via POS OPKs. I have cramps since O and many other pregnancy symptoms which could also be PMS or Clomid. Ugh. I have tested and have gotten BFNs. Does this mean I am out this cycle? I am so confused and bummed. Sorry for jumping in on the topic.

MrsMullen good luck! That's quite the story! Sounds like you have some promising follicles this month! How did your NCLEX go? I've had a few friends take it and they said it was really stressful! Good choice to wait until after.

darian- The one nice thing about Clomid is the shorter periods haha. For me, ovulation was still the same cycle day with the shorter periods, but who knows what yours will do! Who can ever tell with us ladies? It's always just a long waiting game.

Melissa :( Will you do another IUI next month, or wait a bit, or move on to something else?

Welcome Megan :) You could still be pregnant. 11 DPO is still early to test! I wouldn't give up yet. It totally sucks that the symptoms are pretty much the same for pregnancy, PMS, and Clomid! It makes it definitely hard to tell what's going on!

AFM, cycle day one today!!! Only two weeks late. It's odd to say I'm relieved to finally see AF!

Allison, we are cycle buddies. CD1 for me yesterday too, on time with wicked cramps. Worse than I've had in a long time. We will be continuing this cycle with IUI and will also be going to an IVF orientation. Then we have to put a deposit on the IVF wait list. We will probably do a few more IUI's while we wait, as its up to a 6 month waiting list. If we get a sticky bfp from IUI then we will have only wasted the deposit.

Alison- Yeah for AF! That does sound funny but I think we all get it. Sometimes when you know its a BFN you just want to move to the next cycle already.

Lisserb- I hope next round is the winner so you don't have to worry about IVF but IF this cycle doesn't work out you could also travel to my clinic for IVF. There is no wait list and my doctor takes on patients from all over the world because it's less expensive here. Just an idea if you're looking for some options. I'm sorry to hear about painful AF. Apparently it's a sign that the progesterone is doing it's thing (more lining to shed), or so I've been told.

Mrs Mullen- Wow, looks like you are an excellent responder to Clomid! I was only ever able to make 2 with Clomid alone. Good luck this cycle and keep us posted!

AFM- I am pregnant!!!! .........for now, that is lol. As of this morning there is a little embryo hanging around inside my uterus so now all I have to do is wait to see if he/she wants to stay there and prosper. I'm not getting my hopes up too high as it could have been a better quality embryo (it's good, but not great) but hey, it's out of my hands now. The hard part is done, conception has taken place and so there are less things that can go wrong and that makes me hopefullll:) Wish me luck ladies! I will know in about 10 days!

Wow! Such great news today! Congrats to the pregos! It's funny how I get so jealous of people being pregnant in my "real life", but when I hear of BFP's on this, I'm so happy and excited for you all. Keep us updated!

AFM, I had my HSG yesterday and my husband had his SA. My HSG was clear! I was really excited, especially since I have a history of endometriosis. We'll find out later this week about husband's SA. I'm on CD8- took my last 7.5mg of Femara yesterday... so... here we go again!
