babyp- Ugh:( I cannot count the number of times I caved and tested and got totally bummed out seeing a BFN. I can't have any in the house these days because I will surely test too early and bum mysellf out. I'm sorry you got a BFN and as much as Im sure you LOVE people saying this, i'm gonna anyway, "you're not out till AF shows".

Allison- I hope youre feeling better today!

Melissa- Oh I hope hope hope it's implantation bleeding!! You are a fertile Mertle for sure so I won't be surprised at all if this works! And this time, thanks to progesterone it's gonna be a sticker:) Keep us posted!!

AFM- I'm not thrilled with my results but I do still have 2 days left of stimming so I'm not solidifying my feelings yet. As of today I have 9 follicles ranging from 11-17. My doctor is pretty sure I'm going to have at least 6 or 7 eggs but most likely not more than 9 in total unless a miracle happens. 10 seems to be the best number with greatest results so I would love to have 10 but I will be pretty happy at this point with 6-8. I just need at least 2-3 for freezing incase this cycle doesn't work. Sooo nervous! Tuesday is the big day where I find out what time I take the trigger shot but the way it looks now I will be doing egg retrieval on the 24th and transfer on the 27th or 29th depending on how many I want to put back in. There is a 40% chance of twins so I'm thinking transfering 1 may be the best idea. Anywho, now I'm rambling lol, wish me luck ladies!!

I haven't tested yet, I want to wait and see if AF shows up. I started metformin about 5 days ago, and I've been feeling pretty crampy the last day or so. Not sure if AF will be showing up soon or whats going on.

Believe me, I know how hard it is. I tested the day before, 7 Jan and got a very strong negative, the next day got my positive. SO just have some faith and hang in there.

I know its easier said than done but Gods timing is perfect.

Jupitor- Be strong! I know everyone else says to test at like 9dpo but I think waiting for AF is less heartbreaking. That said, I usually cave and test at 10-12dpo anyway lol. Good luck and I hope this is your month!

AFM- Best day ever!! Went for my last u/s and they saw 17 follicles ranging from 11-22! 14 of them are the perfect size so my doc says I should get 12 for sure and possibly more as they have another day or two to keep growing. WooHooo!! That will be more than enough and since I will be able to freeze some it means that if this round doesn't work it will be super cheap next cycle and my odds increase with a frozen transfer too! All around great news:D I will most likely trigger tonight and do egg retrieval on Thursday. Wish me luck ladies:)

I'm feeling fine. I've been testing out the trigger, and even though I'm 9dpiui now, I can't say the tests have gone completely negative yet. Can't really say they are positive either. I'm trying to hold off on using a frer, but I may do one tomorrow. A few more days should tell one way or another. I've had a bit of red spotting, but really only on cervix checks. It comes and goes. I'd hoped that if that pink cm had been from implantation that I'd have a definite positive by now, but I can't rush this no matter how much I want too, lol!

Ohh, I'm excited to see your results! I think if you see even the tiniest line tomorrow it would indicate a positive. If my memory serves me correctly, you've never had the trigger shot last longer than 8 or 9dpo, no? Really really hoping this is it for you!! Good luck for tomorrow but if not, then for sure by 12dpo, afterall, 10dpo is still super early and even according to FRER a very small percentage of pregnant women test positive that early.

I am in as well!! Currently on day 4/5 of our first round. I have another US on Thursday to check the follicles.

AFM, back to the drawing board. CD1 today. I scheduled a HSG for next week. My husband will be scheduling an SA for next week, too. So we'll have a lot of information this cycle.

Hi Ladies, I have been reading everyone's updates and kinda just sitting back and hoping one day i will be posting about my big fat positive! I cant decide if i need to take a break from these forms bc it makes me think more about the ttc process or maybe interact more and it will help with the stress of it all.

For those who are new and have not heard my history before, a quick story is...
I have been ttc for a yr now and had 2 chemical pregnancies last yr, with my beta hcg never above 33 and the last one i insisted on a progesterone draw and it was extremely low. I am hoping that since i am now seeing a specialist and this is my 4th round of clomid and this month we r doing our first iui, i hope i will fall pregnant with a healthy baby and it stick! tonight i give myself the ovidrel injection "trigger shot" then go in for iui exactly 36 hrs later.
i get my
nervous about the shot, the last two i went to gyno and they did it, bc there was a miss understanding when gyno wrote the scriipt for a hcg trigger shot...lol and thank god the specialist figured it out and it is like $100 cheaper to do it urself. But she wants to have me do another another injection 5 days from the first for an extra boost she said, since i have a history of low progestrone.
