I am still waiting to hear from the OB. I am assuming another repeat tonight. Need to start pumping to get ahead. Because with the med you cannot breasfeed if it they have to give me it for ectopic. I am so oover this.

I hate limbo too. I hope it's not ectopic. Keep us posted.

News from OB: repeat hcg tonight, if it doubles start progesterone supplements. Keep an eye out for pain on one side and remain cautiously optimistic because they have seen crazy things happen with hcg and viable pregnancies.

also said she thinks won't be able to be able to breast feed for a couple of weeks. That would be.hell

If your beta is doubling, there's no reason not to breast feed still. My ectopic had no pain at all, so ask her to watch it closely, but don't take the meds unless they can prove its in your tube.

i didnt formulate my words well...if they have to give me meds for ectopic i wont be able to breastfeed for 48-72 (i looked it up after she said a couple of weeks).

i am going to ask for u/s after this next beta, unless it decreased significantly or has doubled miraculously.

I would for sure. If it started going up appropriately, it should be around 1000 now. Enough to see for sure where it is.

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been missing for a while. After our 4th loss in February DH & I decided to stop trying to conceive our child. Neither one of us can go through another loss. I can't go through all the testing, poking, proding, procedures, etc. You all know what I'm talking about.

So we are going to talk with an Adoption/Foster agency this Thursday. Not really sure what to expect. Not really sure I'm ready for this crazy road. One day I want a baby the next day I don't. I guess I'll go see the adoption agency and see what our options are.

There's a lot going on here! Lisser- sorry to hear about your delay in getting IVF. But I have to agree that maybe the universe is telling you to wait :) The floods were the final divine sign!

Jess--how are you feeling? Do you feel "pregnant"? Is it too early to tell? When do you get your labs back? Praying everything is ok for you.

Ugh Jess, how frustrating!! Hopefully you just have a slow riser and not an ectopic. Did they say you could have an ultrasound?

Jen, that is awesome news about the adoption program! I'm waiting till our IVF is done before we go ahead with our adoption classes.
