Question

Low levels hCG? :-(

Hi everyone!
So, October 10 I finally got my bfp! (17-18 dpo) October 16 I felt like something was wrong, and I went to my doctor. The bloodtest said 134 hCG. Low! Two days later the number was doubled to 381, and yesterday is was 1066. I’m so worried :-( the doctor made a scan on October 16, and she could confirm a pregnancy because of a light bubble, but I would only be 5+3 that day.
Had my last AF September 6, and my cycles is regular.

I should be 6+4 today.. are the numbers to low for me to be 6+4?

Cycles can change on a whim, regardless of how regular u normally are. I would hold on to the fact that the numbers are doubling, and not the dates/numbers themselves. Pregnancies develop at different rates and ultrasounds can be off. They take such minute measurements that even a millimeter or two could be a difference of days. Stay positive, today, u are pregnant!! =))

Congrats!

Hcg doubling is a good sign! The number itself doesn't matter. I know its impossible but try not to worry too much.

I remember when we were chatting earlier in the month. I'm so happy that you have your confirmed BFP! Stay strong. I hope it all works out!

We are so happy! And thank you ladymae! I’m sending babydust your way!

I know I should not worry but it’s very hard. I’m having a hard time too make sense of it all. My numbers are doubling witch is good. But could O have moved almost two weeks And is my low hCG too low if I am actually 6w4d??

The range for hCG is huge. I believe 6wks starts around 1000. A later ovulation plus trying to measure something so tiny (human error) could definitely alter results.
Short story. Last yr I went to the ER with bleeding at 7w1d. They did a beta and ultrasound. The ultrasound found a baby measuring 6w1d. I knew my dates were accurate but they insisted it was a late implantation. Well, I got my BFP that cycle at 8dpo. So baby measuring a week behind meant I got my BFP the day after I ovulated (medical miracle? I think not!). A couple days later, I found the heartbeat with my Doppler. A heartbeat on a Doppler before the heart even has 4 chambers...miracle? Nope! I went for my dating scan a week later, baby was now behind by a couple days, not a week. By her 12wk scan, she was ahead in measurements.
She may have been behind by a bit in the beginning, but I believe her being that far behind wasn't due to her actual measurements, but more so the technicians measuring skills/equipment used. So yes, u can definitely be behind by a week or more, esp when u don't know ur ovulation date. The doubling rate is definitely what u wanna focus on right now. Just my 2 cents tho.

Will they be doing more betas and ultrasounds soon?

Ah ok, makes sense! I feel calmer now!
I’m going for anorher ultrasound 29 October. I don’t know if they will do more betas.
Thank you for your answer!
