Well...we got home yesterday and I did an ovulation test... it was negative... one app I use says I should O tomorrow ... the one on here Says I prob ovulated 2 days ago. Although, I haven’t gotten the full signs of O yet... normally I cramp pretty bad, loose stools, smells bother me etc... so maybe I haven’t yet or maybe I won’t O this month until even later? .... possibly that spotting for a week last week may have thrown everything off?? Last evening I had a little yellow thicker cm (no itching burning or Signs anything is wrong) I’ve never gotten colored cm (other than red/pink/brown)during an O time or even in along time period...
Again I’m attributing this to being off from all that spotting I did. I don’t know- any opinions?...

@bkc - I don't have any similar experience myself, but I would say that if you haven't yet gotten a positive opk, than you are a few days away from your O day. I wouldn't necessarily trust those apps. I also use two, one says I should get AF in 2 days, the other in about 7, so they may not always be accurate. And with no other signs of O, I would consider it as "delayed ovulation" and still wait for it. Also, I do have a thicker yellowish cm between af end and O day, it than turns more ewcm a few days before O day. It may be that this month, your hormones were a bit off and that's why the cm appeared.. But if you are worried, maybe you can consult your doctor just to make sure.

@Rooroo I plan to test till saturday morning. I have cramps but they come and go just a lot of CM and usually by now I am dried up since AF is 2 days away.

Thanks for the response- yeah I agree the apps have been off for me before and even though it told me “this day you should o” I knew I had actually o a few days prior cause of my body... yep our bodies usually tell us what’s going on if we are in tune... unless stuff is off.
That was a lot of spotting I had that week which could have def delayed ovulation... hopefully it won’t completely miss this mo.
I never get get colored cm (other than red/brown/pink) so the yellow color is throwing me... I don’t have any uti symptoms.. no funky smells or itch...if anything comes up I’ll def go in... just wanted to see if yellow can be norm for some people.

@Bkc maybe because of the spotting it has pushed your ovulation back abit? It’s a difficult one, but the opk’s are prettt reliable. I have several different apps on my phone but one says I shouldn’t O till tomorrow yet my opk and Digi opk said I ovulated Saturday and I had all the other symptoms then too :) let us know if you get your positive opk!

@bkc, for me the yellowish cm is normal, of course it's not like it's that "yellow", but it's visible compare to the white paper.. I wouldn't worry if it's just a one time thing. Keep us posted about the O day!! :) And happy Bdying in this highly baby-friendly time of the month :))

Hello ladies.

I'm fed up. After getting darker this last week-end, but not "positive dark", my opk got light again. So I've decided to continue testing, but counting these darker days as the surge nevertheless. Thus, I'm circa 3-4 DPO. We had sex on Monday, I hope it will be enough, if I don't have miraculously a "by-the-book" positive these next days.

I'm thinking like that because when I was TTC for my daughter, I never had a "by-the-book" positive opk, but I'm became pregnant anyway. I thought it was just the cheapie tests that I was using that were shitty, so I've changed of brand, but now I start to think that's me, who does not test when I should to have a "by-the-book"positive. If I don't conceive this cycle, I will buy more sensitive tests and will maybe start temping.

Thoughts?

(Please, don't get me starting on digital opk, those don't work for me).

@Cornflakegirl82 - I think you've got the right mindset all things considered. If you have a lot of leftover OPKs, I'd probably keep testing until AF, but otherwise consider yourself 3-4dpo. "Positive" OPKs can be missed during short surges.

Ladies, who is testing tomorrow? :)) Fingers crossed for all of you! Any news? Any new symptoms?

@Veve_N I was going to test tomorrow but my husband said no more tests unless AF is due. He said I’m over doing it with the tests I’ve only done 3. Lol I’m just going to wait and see if AF shows on Saturday and re-test.
