adding water turned HPT positive during time limit ?? help

I did a pregnancy test early morning but there wasn't enough urine the but enough to go all the way through. However the test still had pink dye that stayed there so I ran some water on it within the time limit and it turned positive before time limit ends. this is how it looks like now ? so confused
is it possible that water causes false positive.
