Urs is completely different to how mine was done. I was given a sealed container and told he could do it at home whenever he felt like it. We had to abstain for 3-7 days and have the sample back at the lab within an hour of ejac. It takes 2 days for my doctor to get the results.

Where my DH went I was not allowed in the room. We showed up, checked in, paid the fee. Then they took DH back to a room. He described it as a dimly lit room with a TV, DVDs, dirty mags and a little couch with a "wee wee pad" on it. He did his deed into the cup, put it in the door and walked out. Nothing is required afterwards. We got our results a week later.

Some places don't allow women in the room with the men because some women are uncomfortable with their man viewing porn. This is what the nurse told us. So I guess some places want to give the man a break from the insecure wives or something and allow him to do it in private without the wife knowing what's really going on lol. I think that's silly but I guess there are ladies out there that wouldn't allow it so I sort of get it. I was allowed in the room and I just gave some oral attention to his...ahem..danglers lol. I was allowed to go in the room with my DH. I would have thrown a fit if they wouldn't let me go, but luckily, they did. We took pre-seed since you can't use regular lube or anything. It took about 20 mins to get it done since DH was really really nervous and felt awkward. We just did business as usual and he pulled out and put it in the cup.
