Question

Comparison of Ovulation tests+ some tips I learned from crazy testing

Ok, for the sake of science (ha) I did a head to head comparison of three brands of opk's this morning during my surge! First Response, internet cheapie from early-pregnancy-tests.com, and CBE digital. They all detected the surge at the same time (well within a few hours anyway for the digital one- I got errors on it when I first got a surge with the other two at 9 am). I felt the FR test was the easiest to use and read overall (the lines are sharper and you can pee on the stick or in a cup- sometimes you don't want to do the cup thing). The CBE gave me errors this am and not sure why- I had the directions right in front of me, and I am an experienced tester! But I will be using the cheapies from now on because of the price. Oh, just a tip- if you are truly surging, you don't need to hold your urine for four hrs prior to testing. I tested multiple times between 7 am and noon and they were all + after 9 am, including the CBE smiley face so I am not biased in my reading of them.
