BBT and spotting

I am 7-8 DPO and yesterday I had light spotting that was only there when I wiped,and today it is totally gone, and my CM is back to creamy like (sorry TMI). For the past 2 days my BBT was almost 98.5, then this morning it was 98.1. I am not due for AF until the 28th, my question is, what comes first, the spotting or the BBT dip? I was also VERY sick to my stomach this morning when I got to school ( I am a teacher) and then iit was gone about 10 minutes later. We are TTC #1, so I dont know what to expect.Any help would be appreciated!! :-)
