Implantation bleeding or really early period

Hi everyone, so my apps say that I'm 6/7 dpo and since CD 23 (CD24 now) I've been having brown discharge, like it's old blood. I'm 8 days away from AF arriving so unsure what this is. AF is never early, cycles are typically 30/31 days
