Really crazy/dumb question...
Let's say you had an ultrasound and something was detected, possibly a sac/fetus but then you get another one days later and nothing was found. Could the ultrasound have been wrong?? Could it have been something else?? Could it have been too early??
I'm asking because I'm feeling very discouraged right now. Had an ultrasound around 5w5d (plus or minus a day or two) that showed possibly a sac and baby but a few days later, nothing could be found. Also, I don't "feel" too pregnant now days since then. Don't know what to think rn.

Yes, same place and person. She told me after the second scan that she was only a registered nurse and not a sonographer. So could she have been wrong the first time? Second time? I'm just very confused b/c clearly something is in the pic but I'm not sure whether or not it's really a fetus.

I would get a second opinion . 5 wks is definitely very early. This is why most dr.s refuse to do an ultrasound this early. It could be possible of a miscarriage, but again, it's just too early to see anything. Hold out, and as long as you still ha e positive tests, getbanotjer ultrasound at about 7 weeks.

Yeah, I've taken a BUNCH over the course of these past 3 weeks. They were ALL very faint (but visible) positives, neither darker or lighter each time, except for today. I got the same faint lines on a walmart equate but the .88 cent one was a bit lighter. I can't go off of my periods because they've never been regular.
