Quick Update

Well, it's been almost a month since I posted a JE, so I thought it was about time. I've noticed too, that most of us have been very quiet lately. It's summer, so I hope everyone is out and enjoying their families and friends. Chad and I have been very busy, but I get on here to check on everyone a lot. I'm glad to see so many familiar faces graduating over to the CMP site. Hopefully the rest of us will follow you soon.

This cycle has gone very very slowly for me. I'm not sure why the time is dragging on, but I don't mind much because I knew I wasn't going to ovulate until later, so Chad and I just enjoyed normal life for a while. I should have ovulated yesterday, or maybe today, but I'm not totally sure when. I guess I'll gauge it by what my temperature does tomorrow, but that's difficult too.... Which actually brings me to a question. My thermometer has been giving me some crazy readings lately, and if I leave it in my mouth (lets say "hypothetically" I fall back asleep waiting for it to beep lol) the temperature continues to go up after the alarm goes off, and my temperature ends us way higher than normal. Weird right? This is the original thermometer, with the original batteries, that I started using when I began temping 15 months ago, so I know it could be the batteries, but has anyone else had this happen to them? My temperature just seems to be very erratic lately, and I don't know if it's hormonal or a faulty temperature reading. I think I will buy a new one for the next cycle either way.

Chad and I are covering our bases this month as far as BDing goes. He says he's game for one more session tonight, so I feel pretty confident about that. Hopefully a miracle of all miracles will happen, and that one strong and mighty spermy will make it's way into my egg. That's the hope anyways.

I'm thinking of you ladies all the time, even if I'm not posting on here as much. I pray for you daily, and I'm rooting for us all to have healthy and happy babies very very soon. Bushels of Baby Dust!!!

I agree get a new thermometer or replace the batteries. But I wouldn't use the new one till you start a new cycle. I am cheering on Chad's swimmers tonight. ;)

Thanks Hannah. I'm really looking forward to hearing about your retrieval to tomorrow!

Basia, I'm glad to hear that it's not just my thermometer losing it's mind! Hope things are going well with your pregnancy!

Emily, I'll definitely be getting a new one soon, but I'm hoping I won't need to use it! ;) Hope you guys are having a good summer too. Is this your IUI cycle, or is it the next one?

Tracey, I won't use the new thermometer till next cycle, but hopefully I won't need it at all. Thanks for the well wishes. I'm feeling optimistic about this cycle, so hopefully something will come of that! I'm checking your chart all the time! I hope AF shows for your pretty soon, so you and Mark can get back at it and get that sticky BFP!

I haven't charted in several months but I agree with the others. Your thermometer is having problems. Wishing you a perfect cycle with success.

Thank you Starmomma for the well wishes. DH has a lot of swimmers, they're just shaped funny. We just need that one good one to get in there though! Hoping for your BFP soon too!

Mozart, thank you. I hope this cycle repeats itself with a different outcome for you. I'm checking on you every day! :)

Your thermometer sounds like mine. I put it away because it just frustrated me. Hoping this is your cycle.
