BFP!! - UPDATE

Happy 4th Anniversary to us!! So last night, I wasn't feeling anything. It didn't discourage me, but the cramping and pressure had gone away, so I was wondering. I got up this morning, and had to pee SO BAD! I went ahead and went because FMU is never great for me. Chad asked me if I'd peed in a cup, and I said no I was going to wait. He took his shower, and then I took mine, and got dressed for work. I needed to go again, so I decided to pull out the test. I wasn't going to cheat and look at it without him, so I tried to stick it back in the wrapper quickly, but I "thought" I saw a shadow where the line would be. I went in to the living room where he was drinking his coffee and asked him if he was ready. He was nervous, but said yes. I put the test down on the counter and went to make my coffee. After everything was done, I turned on the light and pulled out the test. Instantly we could see that it was very positive. I started bawling immediately, and he got up and held me and cried too. There was no wondering or guessing or turning it to face a certain light, the line was there, plain as day.

We are cautiously optimistic, but I just have a very calm and peaceful feeling about this, and I think that this will be our bring home baby. I have an appointment tomorrow to check my estrogen and progesterone, and I'm going to tell them about my positive test, so I'm sure they'll run a beta. Officially my beta is not until next Thursday though. I am technically 12dpo, and after the test sat for 20 minutes, the line was almost as dark as the control, but not as thick. Could be twins, but could just be a very healthy pregnancy. Either way, we're ecstatic. We're going to tell our family this Saturday at Chad's birthday party. It's very early, but they have been praying hard for us, and if something does happen, we will need them to help us get through it.

My only "symptoms" are on and off cramping, restless sleep and lots of dreams. I don't really call these symptoms though because I'm not a good sleeper anyways. Other than that, I feel totally normal. Thank you all for the support and great notes. It feels so good to say I'm pregnant!!

UPDATE: Just heard back from the doctors office and my first beta 8 dpt was 162.5. We're very excited!

I felt nothing before my Af was due. I guess that's the reason I never tested early that month. I was always expecting all these symptoms of pregnancy that never really came before 5 or 6 wks. I'M so ecstatic. I was literally having a conversation with God this morning !lol I prayed for good news for you guys!
