Implantation bleed or abnormal period?

I'm 43 And get regular periods only ever a day early or late and last for about 4 days. This month had spotting for 4 days one day was slightly heavier but wasn't normal period flo at all and was at the same time as expected period. Spotting was mainly when I wiped. Had aching hips which i ger most months but only slight cramps. That was a week ago that started. So not sure if implantion bleed or just an abnormal period. Have done 1 test which was negative. Wanting to know if this has happened to anyone else.

Hi. I have had the same. Regular periods, and some normal bleeding, alternating with light periods and unfortunately some heavy periods too sometimes. So much that I test many times as they look like miscarriages. Dr said is natural maturity and not to worry about it.
