What the hell?

I had what I thought was a positive OPK on CD7....thought that was odd- but period was very light having just come off BCP so I thought cycle was just off this month. I had three positive pregnancy tests on tuesday March 31...but they were followed by negatives that afternoon and have continued to be negative Just for the hell of it, I started using opk again the past few days...it is positive today...cd 24. HCG test negative. Now I’m like WTF ?! I should mention, we just “aren’t preventing” pregnancy, and I tested for pregnancy mid cycle because I “felt” pregnant...and I was doing these opk more out of curiosity as I was thinking I might not be ovulating regularly (I’m 39) and At this point I am wondering if maybe I have a hormonal imbalance or something with higher than normal LH...
