Agreed! I had a positive ovulation test at 7dpo on.. got my positive hpt at 10dpo it's a good sign! U can bd just to be safe!

Ive also had positives in the lead up to AF and gotten AF. You get another LH surge before AF shows, so you can often pick that up if you keep testing. There's also the possibility that you failed to ovulate after the first surge, so your body will try again (recommend DTD just in case its this!!) Lastly, yes OPKs can pick up HcG, however OPKs are usually less sensitive than HPTs. So you would pick up a pregnancy on a HPT (some can pick up 10miu) before you would with an OPK (most are 20miu).

Are you using the CB dual hormone kit?

Once you receive your first solid smiley of the cycle (non flashing smiley face that stays for 48 hours) you should not use the test kit again for that cycle.

If you do, the kit mistakenly believes you have started a new cycle and you a) cannot trust the results and b) confuse the kit and likely render it less accurate for future cycles.

The pp is correct. Clearblue tests should not be used again after you reach your first peak. Anything after that is invalid information.

Thanks for the responses ladies. I just assumed that there is a possibility that I didn’t ovulate the first time. This is my first time using the kit. My cycle is normally between 29 and 35 days.
