Homemade pregnancy test and symptoms
Hello everyone,
Congratulations to all the newly pregnant and my prayers to all those that had losses.
About me:
This cycle i never had a real darker 2nd line on my ovulation test so i just went with my gut and with how i was feeling. I had some major contractions and we bd everyother day for about a week during that period. I never saw an EGWM but it was clear and watery which also a fertile CM . Around 4-6 DPO , i had some light contractions and i thought maybe it was implantation. But then 2-3 days later i cought a light cold. I had not been temping this cycle but bc of my cold, i had to check to make sure i was not rinning a fever. Since 6DPO i had a temp of 98.3F. I have not checked today because it would have not been accurate as I woke up too many times at night to use the bathroom. Symptoms i have been having are backache, diziness, tender breasts and nipples, fatigue. But i think they are mostly due to the cold i was fighting. Anyway , that did not stopped me from POAS and so far starkly white BFN.
Today though i research about homemade pregnancy test. I actually got inspired by one of you who posted about the toothpaste pregnancy test. I tried it and nothing worked, no change . But once i did the bleach test 50-50measure urine inside bleach i got a big foam and fizzle. I tried it with FMU and 2nd morning urine and I got the same result. But those tests are not realiable. But then again which home tests are right? The only reliable one is blood test and usually doctors don t like to do.
I havec also learn today in my researches about checking your cervix. Basically after ovulation and it went high , it is closed if you cannot put a finger through the opening. If that is the case, you could be pregnant. I have not checked mine yet but i will in a few minute.
If this cycle is a bust, I sm moving forward with both iui and adoption. I would like to have a child by this time next year whether it is biological or through adoption.
Baby dust everyone
