Cousins day

Well, yesterday was cousins day with my bubba, my girls, my hubs, and my bro bro. The boys went to Lake Erie/Edgewater to fish....and caught absolutely nothing except some sunburns. The girls and I stayed at their house and swam all afternoon and then tie-dyed. I'm fried, and have some seriously beat up shins (no idea why) but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. We had so much fun and we've decided to have a once-monthly cousins day. :) next month, our craft projects will be of the paint on canvas variety. Stoked!!

On the ttc front, it's been quiet. My stomach's been acting up but nothing super notable.

I hope you girls have had a great weekend. I'm off to take an ice shower....my skins on fire!

Wow, sounds like a great day...good idea doing it monthly, u need that release!

Now I know what's missing in my life - cousins! Mine are too far away and I haven't seen them in 20 + years. I probably wouldn't even recognize them if I saw them today. Make that cousins' get together a tradition and don't forget the sunscreen next time :) !!

It was a great day, ladies. Since it's only me and my brother (with a 6.5 year age difference) our cousins are like siblings. My older cousins drifted away and we don't have that connection anymore but my younger cousins have moved in. lol I'd die for those kids. I can't wait to have them around as a major part of my future kids lives.

The burn still sucks. Can't wear a bra...and I wish I didn't even have to wear a shirt...lol Sunscreen will not be ditched next time. I've never worn that nasty stuff, but I don't have the skin of an 18 year old anymore.

Sounds like a great day! I know sunburns suck, but the sun feels so good while you're out there! Glad you're getting some relax time, and that you'll be doing this monthly!
