Longest day everrrrr
And, for no particular reason, I might add. My job just keeps getting more and more boring. There is literally nothing for me to do. I'm not necessarily complaining because I basically get paid to wait for someone to call or answer a few e-mails, but man, I'd love to find something I enjoy so the work day passes faster and I have something exciting to tell hubs at the end of the day. I spend a small fortune in books every month because I'm like a crazy-mad-speed-reader at this point...Nothing like reading 13-300+ page books in 5 days or less. I've made myself a promise that I will only buy a new release book from my already approved list of authors for the next 6 months to save money, which means I will be re-reading through my library of 400+ books to keep my brain occupied. I think I've developed a problem...
Readers Anon, anyone?
I wish there was more of a market for freelance editors and beta readers out here. I don't even know how to go about doing any of that online. I'd rather get an English degree before attempting anything like editing. Beta reading would be good to start since I still see some of my favorite indie authors with issues AFTER publication and I could pick those mistakes out in a heartbeat. I just have to figure it out...
Other than that, nothing exciting going on over here. Been feeling a little crappy the last few days.
I hope y'all are having a good week! Baby dust!

I like to read, but I'm a slow reader because it makes me sleepy, and I only get a few pages down before I knock out lol. I used to read myself to sleep every night, but once Chad and I got together, we just turn the light out when we go to bed. I think I'll start up again one day though.
Glad to hear from you, and that you're doing well. Good luck!!

I love reading too but am slower at it now then used to be because I have a toddler that doesn't allow me any me time and when I finally do get me time its 10 pm and I'm dead to the world! I hope that either your job gets more interesting or you find something else that your absolutely in love with doing. Good luck!

Hmm, my fav authors are probably Kelly Elliott, L.A. Fiore, Mia Sheridan, and R.S. Grey. I also loooove my kindle app for my iPhone, iPad, and computer lol. The fact that I use the kindle app on my work computer means that no one knows that I'm reading. I do wish though that I had hard copies of my books...I'd love to have an actual library of my own one day. I've been gifted with the ability to enjoy re-reading books which means that they would never have a chance to collect dust.

Bahahaha! It should be a real thing. I pray that I can instill a love of reading in my future kids. It's at least an educational hobby. Hubs hates when I adopt a new term....like twat waffle. Oh speaking of, HJ Bellus is another good author if any of you are into southern rom-com books. She's hysterical! "Cree" is a good one to start with, with her.

Complete reading freak here too. I've read 2 this week! Probably because I'm on vacation though. Work (unfortunately) keeps me too busy to have a chance to fully marinate that addiction.
How's your cycle going? Wondering if we can still be buddies even though I'm probably 10+ days behind...
