Things are looking up

So far things are going well. I've made it to 10dpo! Temp went back up today to the highest it's been all cycle. The spotting from the other day only lasted for a few hours (2 potty breaks) and haven't seen any more. Boob pain has been on and off since Tuesday instead of being constant. Other than that, I don't think there's anything noteworthy on the TWW front.

Brandon and I were driving through the country yesterday evening after being screwed on our Ice-Cream-Wednesday date. The line was HUGE! Easily 50+ people and they closed a half hour later so we decided to go today before going to see Jurassic World. Anyway, y'all are gonna think I'm nuts, but have you ever noticed how sweet, fresh, and yummy the new cornstalks smell? They're about knee high (on my 5'1'' self) and the leaves are beginning to open up more. At least Bran noticed it too, so I didn't feel like a complete crazy person. I SOOO want to have fresh corn in our some-day-garden. I could smell that every day of the year and be a happy camper.

We have his mom's side family reunion on Sunday and I'm thinking about making a Peanut Butter Creme Pie to take with us. It should be a decent time. They've been less rude to me over the last few months so going will be tolerable and I'm thankful. We'll also see them all on the 4th so Bran can spend time with his uncle from SC.

I think that's all I have for an update. Hope y'all are doing well!! I can't wait to see who's next for a BFP! Baby dust and stick vibes, ladies!

So glad to see your tww is going well. :) Wish we could smell the corn stalks, but there's none of that around here...

Hope you enjoy your family reunion. We had one recently and it was pretty good. Can't wait to see what happens for you over the next few days. Good luck!

I agree...spotting definitely could've been IB! So hoping and praying for you that this is it! :) I could almost smell the corn stalks through your description. Makes me want to drive out to the country and smell them :) GL!

Hmmm smelling things....I remember the first time I got pregnant I smelled lilacs and thought it was the most amazing smell in the whole world and I had smelled them before, a few days later I found out I was pregnant. Maybe your nose is trying to tell ya something :) Oh and you can bring that peanut butter creme pie right on over to me in Maine ;) That sounds delicious!!!

Gem: LOVE your new picture! Thanks!!

Renee: Our town is surrounded by corn...and cows. Two of my favorite things. :) Thanks!!

Lib: Thanks! FX for you too!

Starmomma: It was amazing. I ended up driving like 10 mph the whole way just to smell it longer. Thanks!

Pregnancyaddict: To be honest, I'm glad it was corn and not flowers. Flowery scents make me sneeze my head off lol. The pie is SO delish! I got the recipe from The Pioneer Woman. She's great!

Sandy: Thanks! I'll post a new JE with the recipe. It's super cheap and easy.

We have sweet corn all over my family farm and we freeze it every year. Nothing, and I mean nothing, smells better than boilding the cobs and then slicing sweet corn off the cob and bagging it (if you don't eat it all first). We can tomatoes too and that's a pretty good smell as well. Good luck to you!

Mal: Gah! Someday...when we have the money to buy land, I'd love to plant a huge garden and learn how to can/freeze various things. I like the idea of growing my own food and the possibility of raising a few cows for meat. It's got to be healthier than store bought, right?

I hope your dreams come true, a beautiful vegetable garden with corn. Wishing you no lines at the ice cream place in the future :) and a BFP on top of it all!
