TTC #2!!!!!!

My OBGYN gave us the all clear and some advice on conceiving =) He is the best OBGYN, SO funny!!!!! I already knew (from our long TTC journey with #1) a lot of things he told me about how most women ovulate in the middle of their cycle, and when to try to do the deed to catch the egg... but he just put things the funniest way, he's awesome!! And he helped us so much through our losses and helped us see the specialist we needed to see to help us conceive (when I found out about MTHFR). He has my utmost respect and trust.... but, yeah, it was a fun visit =)

So, he said to make sure I took my vitamins needed now, so that we are covered when we do get pregnant. I discussed the visit with my husband, and he is on board the TTC train!!!!!!! We are getting my vitamins today and, although it is too late to TTC this cycle (I've already ovulated), we will start NTNP next month!! Well, to me it IS trying, but I don't plan on being obsessed with it this time... if it happens it happens kind of thing, because I 100% believe that stress makes it more difficult to conceive, because when we finally went on a "break" from TTC #1, I fell pregnant that first month with Tim!!!!!!!!! So, I plan on being stress free, but still keeping track of my cycles so we can increase our chances each month =)

YAY FOR TTC #2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy!!!!! Baby dust to all you ladies, hope we get our BFP soon xx

P.S. My doctor has a theory for getting a boy/girl that I would like to share. The theory is, sperm that carry the girl chromosome are slower and live longer, sperm that carry boy chromosome are fast but die faster. Sperm can live up to 96 hours, so if you BD a couple days before ovulation, the slower, longer living girl sperm are more likely to fertilize the egg, and if you BD the day of ovulation, the boy sperm are more likely to fertilize the egg.... just wanted to share that theory... I might just test that out! I will be thrilled either way, but kind of want another boy, and then maybe a girl for our 3rd child... I really cannot say I how many children I want, at this point, 3-4 LOL! I love being a mommy xx Just didn't know if you other ladies wanted to try this theory as well?? So thought I would share...

Congrats on the thumbs up. I have heard of the boy/girl theory. But I think that only applies to people that BD once around ovulation. :) I would take a baby boy or girl. Doesn't matter. Just one BFP would be awesome. :)

So glad hubby is on board and it sounds like your OB is awesome. I hope this time around you get "knocked up" quickly. ;)

Thank you =) Definitely will be happy and grateful either way, of course! And yeah, that makes sense... it would be hard to test the theory if you BD every day... with us, it is hard to find time or privacy to BD too often, so we may be able to test this theory, not sure yet. Just have to wait and see how it goes =)

Oh I am sure it isn't easy with Tim in the house. But I am sure the two of you would find plenty of "creative" ways to make it work. I think little Tim will keep your mind off of the TTC craziness and #2 will be a breeze. :) When are you expecting AF? Are you going to take any particular vitamins for your first month? Or just your normal prenatal?

Congrats on getting the all clear Hun, I'm going your way in not stressing about TTC and if it happens it happens, I'm just taking my usual stuff and OPKs as well, but next month I'm not going to symptom track cause this month I've got really pissed off cause all my symptoms were identical to when I fell pregnant with kaytlyn so no more tracking for me anymore. Just straight OPKs and that's it, so be less stress for us all. Good luck Hun and all the best with TTC #2 xx

That and we have a house full until my sister in law, her husband, and 2 kids move out in May sometime. But we will still have our mother in law, which isn't an issue at all, I love her and she needs the help. So, that's why it's hard privacy wise for now.

Vitamins will be prenatals, folic acid, and baby asprin. I plan on using OPKs. I thought about temping, but will find that very hard with Tim lol. So probably just OPKS and checking cervical fluid. I know I will be a PA addict, but will try to refrain haha. I am expecting AF between the 8th and 11th.
