Clomid helped raise my progesterone, but I didn't conceive on it. Many women do within the first 3 cycles. I had mad side effects too that started after i had taken the last dosage of the clomid during my cycles. Side effects for me included hot flashes day and night, dried up cm, and crying at just about anything. Best of luck to you.

I am on round 3 of clomid. My first dose was 50mg and it was successful in that it helped me ovulate on day 15. However, it did not result in pregnancy. My second round of clomid on 50mg was not successful at all. They tracked me to day 20 and none of my follicals were growing big enough. So, I started on 100mg dose and things were not looking good at all. However, surprisingly on day 25 of my cycle I was told to get my HcG shot to help me ovulate. I am now 6 dpo and waiting patiently (well not really) to take my test.

Clomid was rough on my body and emotions. The first month was okay, the next two I was a basket case. I would cry at a drop of a hat (I actually will still cry now lol) and the hot flashes were rough, but in terms of hopefully achieving pregnancy, it really wasn't that bad all.

My best advice with Clomid is don't feel defeated if it doesn't work right away. Just keep trying,

Hi, I am also on my first cycle of clomid. Just got my positive ovulation test today which is cd 15. I haven't had any major side effects till now. Anyway fingers crossed that it works properly. Good luck to you! And keep me posted on how you get on! Baby dust! :)
